Amanda Platell always felt a deep sisterly bond with Diana because their husbands betrayed them at the same time. Now, in words she thought she'd never write, she explains... 'Why I've finally forgiven Camilla'Amanda Platell: Why I've finally forgiven Camilla

Diana (pictured left) and Prince Charles divorced in 1996, while Amanda Platell's (inset on wedding day in 1984) marriage fell apart in 1990 after her husband cheated. The UK-based writer admits it wasn't until recently that she considered her role in the breakdown of her marriage. Looking back now, she realises that she wasn't a very good wife- working six or seven days a week, leaving their tiny South London early each morning, not returning until late. Amanda suggests every embittered ex-wife who, like her, once clung to the Diana banner of the wronged woman should just get over it and embrace Prince Charles and Camilla (pictured right)

The Prince of Wales has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating, Clarence House has said.

This is the second time Prince Charles, 73, who is triple jabbed, has tested positive for the coronavirus after contracting the disease in March 2020.

Aides said the prince was found to be positive during a routine test - which suggested he was experiencing no strong symptoms - but they declined to go into further details on his medical condition.

Hi RnR

I would not be surprised if HM has got the bug, she was with Charles the other day and he has gone down with it.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has donated $50,000 to an Australian charity fighting childhood bullying after celebrating her 50th birthday earlier this month.

The mother-of-four heralded a new decade on February 5, taking the time to visit the zoo and release official family portraits as part of the festivities.

Despite living - and celebrating - in Denmark on the other side of the world Princess Mary paid homage to her Australian roots by sending a special gift to The Alannah & Madeline Foundation - which inspired the royal to start an anti-bullying program herself in Europe.

She launched The Mary Foundation in 2007 using money she was gifted to her and Prince Frederik at their wedding in 2004, drawing on The Alannah & Madeline Foundation's Better Buddies program to start her Free of Bullying initiative.

I have often wondered how men like this creep treats their daughters!

Prince Andrew's ex-massage therapist claims Royal was a 'constant sex pest' who was always treated in his room where he tried to hug her and asked if she 'takes it up the a***'

Prince Andrew's ex-massage therapist claims Royal was a 'constant sex pest'

Prince Andrew's former massage therapist has made sensational allegations that the under-fire royal was a 'constant sex pest' who quizzed her on her love life while she massaged him in his bedroom. Emma Gruenbaum, 50, has claimed that the Duke of York tried to hug her after massage sessions at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park and always insisted on being naked apart from a towel. After the Queen's second son allegedly asked her if she 'takes it up the a***', the massage therapist claims that she swore at Andrew and furiously told him: 'It's none of your f***ing business'. It comes after the duke's legal team claimed that his accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre 'may suffer from false memories'

Prince Charles 'wants Prince Andrew out of the picture', 'banishing' him from Windsor Castle Prince Charles has effectively "banished" his brother Prince Andrew from Windsor, ordering him to stay "out of the line of sight", according to The Sun.

The publication reports the Prince of Wales has taken action on the matter of his brother as the controversy around his sexual assault case against accuser Virginia Giuffre continues to unfold. Andrew has denied Giuffre's claims on all counts.

What I want to know is WHY THE HELL is this creep not being charged or at least being investigated!?

Just because he paid the woman out does not make him NOT GUILTY!

Same as these creeps like Ghislaine Maxwell  etc and the people that were buddies with them -- why are they not being investigated?

Same as what happens in our Parliament

Seems no matter what happens NOTHING is done!

Kids!  LOL

As usual, the royals are getting up to no good and still spending the poor people's money!

I am not a royalist but recognize they are good for England.  The pomp and circumstance bring in billions of tourist pounds each year.

LOL

GEOFFREY WHEATCROFT: Forgive my disloyalty, Prince Charles, but wouldn't pottering in the garden be more fun than being King?

GEOFFREY WHEATCROFT: With humble respect to Her Majesty, I think she is wrong about the prospective reign of her son.

Queen, 95, carries out virtual audiences at Windsor Castle in first official duties since Covid scare after both Camilla and Charles caught virus

The 95-year-old monarch held virtual audiences from Windsor Castle today. She was pictured greeting the Estonian ambassador, who spoke to the monarch via video-link from Buckingham Palace.

God save the Queen - from her own family: When will the pampered princes Charles and Andrew realise the age of deference is over? asks JAN MOIRJAN MOIR: When will the pampered princes Charles and Andrew realise the age of deference

JAN MOIR: The Queen told visitors this week: 'As you can see, I can't move.' Well, Ma'am, that is so very true in so very many different ways. What with scandals snowballing and humiliations piling up around her like winter slush, Her Majesty barely has room to manoeuvre betwixt her beleaguered sons and their headline-hitting problems. God save the Queen indeed - from her own family.

God save the Queen indeed - from her own family.

Yes ... very sad after her lifetime of devotion to duty.

Sad situation when you are told you have to marry a person you don't wish to.

'There was a loving tenderness in Margaret's eyes, reflecting my own. Our feelings were unchanged...but incurred a burden so great we had to lay it down': Story of Princess' doomed affair with PETER TOWNSEND is told in newly-republished memoir Story of Princess' doomed affair with PETER TOWNSEND is told in newly-republished memoir

PETER TOWNSEND: I first set eyes on the Princess on February 16, 1944, when I found myself in the green-carpeted Regency Room at Buckingham Palace. A few days earlier, I had been summoned by the RAF's Chief of Staff and told I was to be redeployed, as an equerry to the King. I was amazed. I was born in Burma, where my father was a Commissioner, and educated at Haileybury, before joining the RAF. I had no connection with the Royal Family. George VI had apparently decided he wanted staff chosen for their fighting record rather than family or regimental connections. After my introduction, down the corridor came two adorable-looking girls; Princess Elizabeth, then 17, and her sister Margaret, 14. Princess Elizabeth - our future Queen - was the King's pride. Princess Margaret was his joy.

The queen has a lot to answer for with her meddling in others lives.

The Queen has COVID: Monarch, 95, has mild 'cold-like' symptoms but continues light duties at Windsor Castle just days after Charles and Camilla both caught virus Queen, 95, has tested positive for Covid with mild 'cold-like' symptoms

The Queen has tested positive for Covid, Buckingham Palace has confirmed. The monarch, 95, is understood to be experiencing 'mild cold like symptoms', but is expected to continue with light duties at Windsor over the coming week. She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all appropriate guidelines. It is understood a number of cases have been diagnosed in the Windsor Castle team. It comes just two weeks after the Queen reached her historic Platinum Jubilee, celebrating 70 years on the throne on February 6. Buckingham Palace said in a statement today: 'Buckingham Palace confirm that The Queen has today tested positive for Covid. 'Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week. 'She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines.' The Royal Household has its own royal physicians and the Queen's doctors will be on hand to take care of and monitor the head of state, with Professor Sir Huw Thomas, head of the Medical Household and Physician to the Queen, expected to be in charge.

I hope she recovers OK. She's looking very frail in recent pictures.

How the world has change since 1952!

Princess Elizabeth left the UK for 1952 tour of Kenya the 'happiest woman in the world' and returned a 'thunderstruck' Queen days later after learning King George VI had died, son of royal flight attendant reveals

The Queen was 'thunderstruck' on her flight back to London after learning her father King George VI had died while she was in Kenya, the son of a royal flight attendant has revealed.

In those days in Australia a lot of children went to school without wearing socks on their feet, school dinners were not available to us children unless our parents brought it to the school, or we popped out and visited our mothers friend near the school itself.

A decade later we were teenagers or in our 20s and working to make a crust for ourselves;  if you were lucky you went to Technical College or to University.

Another year later those that graduated from university or had a profession went sailing overseas on working holidays,.

Those that started their families started to voice their open opinions and let their children have voices of freedom, that perhaps was not the wisest of things to do looking at what the world has changed into these days!

There doesn't seem to be much respect anymore for your elders in Oz that is for sure, not much respect for anything.

Oh for the better days when life was more tranquil and people worked for a living and didn't want government handouts so much.

I often wonder what our forefathers would have said if they say the mess the world is in today>

It must be a chock for HM to see how the world has changed and people don't show the same respect as they once did.
