Celia - All of my friends have had the 1st and 2nd jabs and only two said they had a slight headache. I've had the 1st one and no reaction., 2nd one in 2 weeks. 

Hubby had a headache also, it affects everyone so differently.

thirty years ago it was standard practice to aspirate the needle when giving intramuscular vaccinations to ensure vaccine was not being injected into a vein. Nowadays, the standard procedure is not to aspirate as risk is remote and needle quicker to give however give enough injections there will inevitably be more instances of adverse effects resulting from giving IV instead of IM. If in doubt on benefit of aspirating then if your GP or nurse is over 50, ask whether they prefer an IM injection given to them be aspirated or not.

Lucca - I think she's trying to show how smart she is. No doubt she was a smart person at some point but her delusional thinking, her paranoid thinking has obviously sent a few brain cells on holiday.

All these conspiracy theories are put out by idiots who have access to the internet, like to make up stories and are having a great big laugh at the turmoil that they have created. These guys (mostly, probably the odd female) read snippets of news stories, snippets of information from websites and broadcast all the bad things, this in turn goes around the world instantly and very quickly these pieces of incorrect, out of context information becomes "fact".

Well where's all this End of World rubbish you were going on about, nearly Christmas now. All seems pretty good, case numbers increasing but that was expected as restrictions eased, hospital numbers are very low, ICU numbers are low, people getting on with their lives, spending up big in the shops.

The VAST, VAST numbers of positive comments around the world with these vaccines prove they are worthwhile. Over 4.3 BILLION doses, half the world's population, yet we ARE NOT seeing millions die, millions getting sick.

Further, the Covid cases in hospital and the ones who have died are mostly UNvaccinated, further proof the vaccine is working.

Of course you can say they are hiding things, it's a big conspiracy, yes that could happen if only a few people involved, NOT when there's billions of people.

Hubby is having his Booster on 25th January and I am having my Booster on 1st February.,

This Pandemic is a big learning curve for all of us, including the experts I feel.

I'm getting my booster on 25th January too.

I had no side effects from Moderna first 2 jabs and  I am  booked in for the 3rd of February for my Maderna Booster. 

I had the 2 jabs in my R/arm in view of the pericarditis rare side effect... so I think I will continue and have it in my R/arm again.... but then again I read this on ABC
