The glue is called "Bondcrete" I understand Seth

uses it to fix his shoddy concrete jobs.

Zapot looks everywhere for ethical business women.

Sees none here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT ONE!

Oh now Zapot, you're not looking very hard or else you can't find your glasses. we females are many on here and it's safe to say that we are all ethical business women, why, we are women, we have to be.......ethical I mean. :-)

HaHaaaaaHah Ohhh Lord I can't stop laughing.

Never give a woman an even break I say.

Before you know it she will be turning on the tears

raising the skirt a wee bit Giving you "THAT" look

and we poor blokes have lost another deal to a scheming female.

It's good to see that you are aware that we have it all covered. :) Arrrrh it's good being a woman!!!!

That is enough.

Don't you know that fun, smiles, being content etc is not allowed ?

As we grow older it is necessary that we get grumpier & complain about anything & everything & each other.

Are you aware that some people here have never done a happy post, so do not let us spoil that with laughter.

It is up to all of us to continue to complain & whine,.

Yes it is Deanna, But today we shed tears for the suffering our men went through, I spent yesterday with my grandson but am avoiding him today as I will not be able to hide my fear and tears. He is off to Afghanistan shortly for his second tour, and I am terrified for him. He flew home just to march with his mates and family, this visit is the last before he leaves. What a tangle of emotions I am dealing with today, My father fought the Italians and the germans and japanese, and yet my beautiful 22 year old grandson who is off to war had an italian grandfather, and yet my youngest grandchildren aged 6 and 2 have german ancestry on their paternal sideand Italian australian on their mothers. I guess this is what happens in a truly multicultural society, who knows maybe in the dim future, one possibly could have a afghani in my family somewhere. Today I will just weep for the terrible waste of life that war brings and the huge pain and fear that women of all races feel when their husbands sons and grandsons go of to war and I pray that the world leaders find some way of bringing an end to all wars. LEST WE FORGET wobbly

I apologise for being off topic with my last post and this one as well I guess .Wobbly.

Wobbly, it is ok to be off topic in the recipe room.

The off topic police stay out of here as it is too sordid for them.

Is it alright for me to say, although off topic, I agree with what

you said wobbly,

Although we cannot hold the present generation

of Japanese responsible, when I heard our P.M. talking about

our wonderful friendship I couldn't help think of those in my unit

left lying in New Guinea, and the POW's in Malaya

Also you only have to see what happened where they occupied

a country to know what would have happened in Australia.

Its nice to know you guys are out there with your support understanding and friendship it is priceless ,especialy today . It seems the men in my family like to worry their women. My grandfather Gallipoli, my father Egypt libya Syria Lebanon and New Guinea, my 4 first cousins out of a family of 5 boys Vietnam, and now my grandson Afghanistan. Am I wrong when I say no more war? While I believe in forgiving I truly understand your memories Seth and yes it would be very hard to deal with the pollies who spout crap and try to reconcile them with the personal memories that you live with every day. Wobbly

Well said Wobbly, Al though we have had to move on, and as seth said, we can't hold the current generation responsible for the actions of the previous ones, it must be so hard for people who have the memories of previous wars, lost relatives in those wars and now to listen to our PM reaching out for the friendship of the once enemy, and (probably more important to the Govt) their trade. This has been happening for some years now which includes both persuasions of Govt.

I feel for you all with those bad memories and to those of you like Wobbly who are still living through the worry of loved ones serving in the current wars, May they all come home safe and sound.

LEST WE FORGET.
