I'm very lucky not to have any serious underlying conditions so I think I'll wait a while before rushing in. Can completely understand the urgency some people feel about it, but I wish there wasn't so much negatuve feedback about after affects.

I don't for one moment believe any Government anywhere is trying to kill us all off.
But this virus is a strange one. It has occurred to me that the virus is probably reducing the overall world population considerably, especially in overpopulated areas, and especially amongst the elderly. As sad as that is, it is probably better than taking out younger more productive people. Some kind of natural attrition happening? Mother Nature fighting back?

Gladys and her Lib/Nat colleagues were too cocky, grandiosely believing NSW was coping better with the virus than any other State and that the NSW approach was the "right" approach. Well hey, that cockiness has come back to bite but unfortunately too many people will have to pay for their mistake. Public safety should always come before economic considerations! The writing was on the wall weeks ago and our decision makers ignored it in spite of witnessing what was happening/happened in India. My cousin in the UK said many vaccinated people are catching the delta strain and are being hospitalised with severe symptoms. She said that many are remaining locked down because they are still scared. That fact does not seem to make the news in Australia.
Need to add that I am all for people getting vaccinated but I don't trust that we are being given the full story about how well the AstraZeneca vaccine protects us.

There are thousands of events reported, again it does not mean the vaccine caused those events.
