how you get a cut & paste shaded.

I never learnt how to cut and past Innes, in fact I don't know much about the computer anyway. My grandkids can whizz around but they live too far away to be any help, so I just have a go.

Jaxx you press fast Reply.....then Smileys......then you see the white torn paper

under the x? zap on that and wait and sometimes wait some more

but it will happen! a yellow message will come up and zap on that and wait again

(no impatience please)

and bingo your smileys shout out what they represent. I think you may have been

impatient? Night time here is the worst for us anyway - many must be using..

You mean quote Innes?

You just press quote (I know you know this) and then

write your message straight underneath......

Just one thing and perhaps this is not what you mean at all

but you cannot touch the person's quote at all not even a commer

or things go pear shape just quote and leave it.

Chuck this in the bin if this is not what you mean.

Oh Jaxx you are missing out and for something you can easily do.

.

(start practicing with just a two line message until you get the knack



Roll your mouse over the message you want to copy.

Holding your finger down on the left side.........................until

it all goes black then right click and click on copy in the little box comes up

.

Then - right click where you want to put that copied message and click on PASTE

in the window comes up and bingo.....

Practice it on a couple of lines first.

I know everything about computors but I dont like pushing in

and instructing people with low IQ. AS THEY MAY CONSIDER

that I brag, I find that if I let the computor illiterates eg. phyl, jazz, mick42

to their own devices, sooner or later they may stumble on the answer.
