To celebrate the launch of our new forum category 'Watch, Listen, Read' we are giving you the chance to win a DVD set of one of the following TV series:

• Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries Series Two Volumes One and Two

• The Syndicate Series Two

• Stella Series One

We want to hear what your favourite TV series is – past, present or future. We have three numbers in mind. Then, whoever's posts match those numbers will win. For example, it may be the seventh poster, the 36th and the 87th poster who will win the DVDs. Oh, and the DVDs won will be decided at random too.

So, if you're interested, get on board!

Watching Nick Knowles as he helps people to renovate old houses and finds out the houses history.

As for watching television, one show I never want to miss is River Cottage. Other than that there is never much on TV anyway. Too many Reality Shows.

Once you've seen them once it's old hat and definitely not interesting.

No Reality shows for me either. Floyds War, Midsomer Murders, The Antique Show, Miss Fisher, Dr. Martin and also the Coastal series by the Scottish guy can't remember his name. Have to try to remember to watch as I don't often turn the TV on.

Oh and the drama series set in Parliament House called Question Time though that keeps losing actors cos' Bronwen Bishop keeps turfing some actors out.

Must agree with you about the Reality Show called Question Time

The questions and answers for the Government are prepared by the Public Servants ... I remember having to do that when I was the Admin officer in several Departments.

The Politicians are a fraud ... and if you are going to watch this show Bronwen Bishop is the saving grace.

Of course one must NOT forget the Dummy Nodders ... they always add interest to the show and to think the Taxpayer has to pay for it.

Think we may have very different favourite Actors on that particular "show" Abby. ThoI have to admit the nodding heads remind me of those bobbing headed animals some people have on their car dashboards.

I enjoy a Touch of Frost but finding it hard to equate to the same person person acting in Again Open All Hours.

Two entirely different characters and he plays both equally well.

David Jason plays 'Frost" I just enjoy watching him, easy to watch, he was also in a series a long time back which was different I think it was 'The Buds Of May" moved his family to France.

A different character again in 'Open All Hours'

He is a one of the great actors of our time

Bowen Mangoes are for fresh eating with golden flesh, sweet, tangy flavour and a rich orange .... delicious without being cooked .... YUM!!!

Thanks YLC for the Video. I definitely didn't expect to win and will share them with Maggs, another YLC member who lives close by. She's had a tough time this year and it should put a smile on her dial.

Seth, Abby turned down the offer. Maybe she's becoming a reformed GD. Couldn't believe she turned down Rays offer of mangoes. I like Bowen mangoes too but still wouldn't turn down the kind offer of any mangoes.
