Video showed Putin speaking to Shoigu whilst gripping the edge of the table with his right hand - so hard that it appears white - and tapping his foot consistently. Shoigu does not appear to have fared any better in the eight weeks since Russia invaded Ukraine, with the defence minister slurring his words and reading from his notes following an apparent heart attack

Putin's deranged regime has announced it will deploy the fearsome nuclear-capable 'Satan II' missile it recently tested in a show of strength by autumn, in a further ratcheting of tensions between Russia and the West as Moscow redoubles its brutal war on Ukraine. The Sarmat missile is said to be the world's longest-range intercontinental ballistic missile, capable of striking a target 11,200 miles away - meaning it could easily strike targets in the US and Europe. Western military experts said the Sarmat is capable of carrying 10 or more nuclear warheads and decoys - easily enough to wipe out Britain or France in a single strike. However, analysts believe the target revealed by Dmitry Rogozin, head of Putin's Roscosmos space agency, is an ambitious one because Moscow reported its first test-launch only on Wednesday and more tests will be needed before the missile can be deployed.

A second unconfirmed blaze was reported at a military base in the area where a military unit of the 120th arsenal of the Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate is located. The giant fire at the Druzhba oil depot in Bryansk is seen from the entire city. The oil storage depot is likely to be vital for supplying Russia's troops in their surge to take control of the Donbas.

The Scheherazade, which is more than 450ft long, and boasts spas, swimming pools and two helicopter pads was connected to a 'significant person' but authorities did not name them. The yacht has been the subject of an investigation by the Italian financial police since the end of March and has been in dock at Marina di Carrara near Pisa since September undergoing a refit. The late night announcement came after fears grew that The Scheherazde was about to slip away and head to international waters and avoid any possible sanctions. Activists and investigative journalists linked to Alexei Navalny, the imprisoned Russian opposition leader, are convinced the yacht belongs to Putin.

Drone destroys Russian landing ship supplying anti-aircraft missiles to Putin's troops on Snake Island as Ukraine vows to 'destroy and burn out' enemy units 'like cockroaches or locusts' 

 

Ukraine today showed a video claiming to be a military drone hit on a Russian landing ship supplying a TOR anti-aircraft missile system to Snake Island. The footage appears to show the destruction of a large Serna-type landing craft in an air strike. 'Enemy units remaining on Snake Island remain without air cover and will be destroyed and burned out like cockroaches or locusts,' said Ukrainian official Anton Gerashchenko. Other reports said the landing craft had been hit by a hit by a Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 military drone. Black and white footage showed little human figures moving around on the landing ship moments before a white flash engulfs the craft. Figures continue to move around on the craft after it is hit

Coup to oust Putin is 'already under way': Ukraine's spy chief believes tyrant will be deposed by AUGUST - as oligarch claims Russia's leader has blood cancer

Ukraine's spy chief Major General Kyrylo Budanov, 36, last night claimed that a coup to remove Vladimir Putin is already under way and that Russia would lose the war by the end of this year. Major General Kyrylo Budanov, said he believed a turning point in the conflict will come later this summer and will eventually see Putin ousted from office. It was also claimed yesterday by an unnamed Russian oligarch that Putin is 'very ill with blood cancer'

 

We avoided more of the same rubbish about the Elections next Saturday and watched other programmes, although a lot were about Russian troops, it seems Russian is hell bent on keeping the war going no matter where it is.

This keeps on rearing its ugly head.  British PM says he will protect these countries back and Putin says he will flatten the UK in 15 minutes!

Russia threatens to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on European border 'when NATO bases appear in Sweden and Finland' as Stockholm now joins Helsinki in confirming they want to join the alliance 

Russian state television has said Moscow may deploy tactical nuclear weapons to its European borders if Finland and Sweden allow military bases on their territory after joining NATO. Sweden's Social Democrats yesterday said they had dropped their opposition to NATO membership only hours after Finland confirmed its intention to join the alliance. Pundits on Russian state TV responded: 'Their official reason is fear. But they'll have more fear in Nato. When Nato bases appear in Sweden & Finland, Russia will have no choice but to neutralise the imbalance & new threat by deploying tactical nuclear weapons.' Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia's security council, said weeks ago that Russia could deploy nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles in its Kaliningrad exclave between Poland and Lithuania, in responce to NATO's Nordic expansion. One of the original supposed rationales for Moscow's invasion of Ukraine in February was to stop Nato enlargement - but that plan is now in tatters as both Scandinavian nations say they will seek membership of the alliance

Director Oliver Stone was granted unprecedented access to the Russian President for a series of interviews between 2015 and 2017 and that he believes he had beaten cancer in the past. The oscar winning filmmaker was speaking to the Lex Fridman Podcast when he made the claims (top right and bottom right, with Putin in 2019). It comes as Christopher Steele, who once operated in Russia as an MI6 agent, said Vladimir Putin (left), 69, is having to take regular breaks to receive medical treatments and that there was effectively 'no clear political leadership' in Moscow. The former spook, who headed up the MI6 desk in Russia for three years, also said the warring president was 'constantly accompanied' by a team of doctors. Rumours of ill health come as the Russian offensive in eastern Ukraine destroys a 'Palace of Culture' as well as resulting in the 'evacuation' of Ukrainian defenders of the Azovstal steelworks into Russian-held Donetsk. Stories have been circling for years that Putin is suffering from health problems, and they have intensified since he launched his brutal invasion of Ukraine. Critics and Kremlin sources have indicated he may be suffering from cancer or Parkinson's, supported in recent weeks by footage showing the leader shaking uncontrollably (pictured right) and gripping a table for support (pictured left). Most recently, on May 14, Ukraine's military intelligence chief Major General Kyrylo Budanov claimed Putin was 'very sick', before suggesting that plans for a coup were already underway. Mr Steele told LBC this week: 'Our understanding is that there's increasing disarray in the Kremlin and chaos. 

 

A friend sent me on Messenger a small film clip which was done in Russia by anti-Putin film crew. They set  up a camera in a small elevator and erected a large photo of Putin. When the doors open you see someone getting in and immediately start swearing at the photo. It is hilarious. Everybody reacts the same way, either swearing or laughing. Some think they are on candid camera and are feeling around the eyes for a camera. I sure most people in Russia feel the same way about Putin but are too scared to admit it.

You can run but you can't hide: Moment Russian tanks hiding in occupied gardens are obliterated after they were spotted by Ukrainian drones 

One of the tanks was filmed reversing into a tree-covered yard, with a soldier bringing up the rear. Tank crews got out of their vehicles, standing on top of the tank while talking, in a seeming attempt to co-ordinate the hiding. Drone strikes light up the trees anyway a few moments later, destroying the Russian targets. Track marks can be seen in the large back yards as the tanks attempt to protect themselves, but with little effect. The wreckage is left smoking by roadsides, scorching the green earth around.
