Coronavirus is 'uniquely adapted to infect humans': Top vaccine scientist says it could only have come from an animal through a 'freak of nature' - and the possibility it leaked from Wuhan lab MUST be investigated

Scientists have produced evidence that the pandemic virus is 'uniquely adapted to infect humans', raising fresh questions over whether its origins were natural or could have occurred in a laboratory.

Most countries and states count those vaccinated as over 12 +

Unlike the deceitful NSW premier DoPe who publishes over 16 +

In NSW those aged between 12 and 15 years are 78.3 per cent double vaccinated, while 82.8 per cent have had their first dose.... Hence DoPe's claims of "The state's population aged 16 years and over is now 93.9 per cent double vaccinated, while 95.3 per cent have had their first COVID-19 vaccine shot." are nothing but lies pretending that NSW has higher vaccination than it has.

We often hear of the unvaxed giving C-19 to the vaxed and vaxed giving C-19 to the unvaxed. But has anyone considered a 3rd one? No one as far as I know has looked into the Mozzie? It does pass on many diseases and other sicknesses. It would only take a nibble on a person's blood with C-19 and they jab a fully vaxed person or an unvaxed one. Maybe it is it who passes this all around.

Can mosquitoes spread COVID-19 ?

See here.

The federal health department has responded after reports a new subvariant of the Omicron coronavirus variant has been detected in Australia.

The BA.2 subvariant, has been found in at least 40 countries, with the United States and Australia now both added to the list.

A spokesperson for the Department of Health told 7NEWS.com.au the situation was being closely monitored.

“Most states and territories in Australia have detected a very low number of the Omicron sub-variant BA.2 in respiratory samples submitted for testing,” they said on Friday afternoon.

The subvariant, which is now dominant in Denmark, appears more contagious than the more common BA.1 sub-lineage, Danish Health Minister Magnus Heunicke says.

“There is no evidence that the BA.2 variant causes more disease but it must be more contagious,” Heunicke told a news conference on Wednesday.

The World Health Organisation classifies Omicron overall as a variant of concern, its most serious designation of a coronavirus mutant, but it doesn’t single out BA.2 with a designation of its own.

Given its rise in some countries, however, the agency says investigations of BA.2 “should be prioritised”.

The UK Health Security Agency, meanwhile, has designated BA.2 a “variant under investigation”, citing the rising numbers found in the UK and internationally.

Nicknamed as The Son of Omicron/Stealth variant and apparently a lot harder to detect with PCR Test.

Thanks for that RnR and thank you for all the other inputs too!

I am amazed at the numbers still climbing up and up and up!

I remember reading an article on this topic a good year ago, it is sad even when you get over this virus there can be still lots of damage done to the lungs.

Long Covid sufferers have hidden damage to their lungs that conventional tests do not pick up and could explain breathlessness, new study revealsLong Covid sufferers may have hidden damage to their lungs, new MRI scan study reveals

Scientists at the Oxford Biomedical Research Centre used a xenon gas scan to pick up abnormalities in the lungs of those suffering from breathlessness after having Covid. The technique developed by the University of Sheffield saw patients inhale xenon gas while having an MRI scan. A larger study has been commissioned to confirm the results of this small sample.

Just awful for those affected.

They have Covid patients in both public and private hospitals.

Cannot imagine as to why anybody would go and have surgery under those circumstances.

I had my Booster Jab yesterday morning, this time it was done at the Chemist!

No issues, didn't start to get sore till I was going to bed and I am still alive this morning with a little bit of a sore arm.

So that is my third Pfizer Jab.

Husband had two AstraZ and one Pfizer.

Thanks for letting us know Celia

I am due to have my 3rd dose of Moderna tomorrow

How did the first two jabs compare to the Boostter ???

Good news Celia, I had my Pfizer booster on 25 January, arm sore for a couple of days, no other ill effects.

But hopefully no more severe or vaccine proof than other variants.
