What can I say Zapot other than it is how I feel.

There is just SO much cruelty to animals including poor battery hens

and bull fighting and goats put into harness and driven into things and

puppy farms and horses left in paddocks with no food or water and so many

other things. I know there is cruely to humans also but regardless poor

animals rely on humans for so much. It haunts me to see the eys on the baby seals

clubbed to death so people can wear their skins. Makes me sick.

I believe the big supermarkets are going to stop selling all eggs other than

free range so that will be wonderful.

What interesting reading! I joined this site quite some time ago but have been to busy trying to keep a site going that I moderate for, so out of interest I came in to see what is going on and came across this page, I must say it is wonderful to find more kindred spirits.



I love animals especially Cats, I have 2 Cats and a Dog, and to me animal cruelty is abhorrent, the only difference between me, and you all is I think you are too kind, I would like to combine a mixture of the suggestions for these inhuman creatures and carry them out separately.



Animals are at the mercy of humans they have no choice who they go to or in this case who manages to outwit them and harm them. So they should hope they never come across me.

I am as very often, trying to type with a cat's tail hanging right

over the screen and swishing every now and again so I almost

fall off the seat trying to see what I am typing lol

The other one is sitting as usual on my knee.

but I feel blessed as to have a cat's love is fantastic.

I do love being our two cat's Mother :lol:

I know the feeling Phyl, the cat in the picture was my best friend and companion he was left for dead when hit on the road, most unusual as he didn't normally go across the road.My son found him,he died in my arms.



Although we have two others he was mine, and I still miss him so much, I wrote poems for him that night, and cried for two days, I am such a sook. I get annoyed that people avoid a dog but in most incidences won't avoid a cat . I know they are unpredictable but some are just mean to Cats, I will wait for the other two to leave this world before I get myself another and it will be a totally indoor cat.

How Sad Pushymeadows. We had a Siamese hit and killed and

a dog also years ago when cats did roam and we reallly thought

it o.k. but we are much better educated now..I know how you feel

as they are always in your heart just over the Rainbow Bridge.

Our two Orientals are indoor cats but do have the small

Courtyard garden also which has grass and many nooks and cranies

and places to scratch on and things to climb and it is an ideal situation

for us also and strangely we are able to feed birds there and the cats

know they are not allowed to touch the birds and it works giving the cats

something to entertain them watching the birds and gives the birds

a place to have water and a bit of food and we get to also enjoy the birds.

Peter has made the garden escapeproof for cats. We have 20 horses on

land at our back fence so most times of the day there is at least one horse

looking for a pat.

Because albeit we received a flyer in our box re a huge

garage sale around the corner here, I took a calming tablet

for my nerves because I decided to try and be strong and not go I did not go.
