2 of them heading for Freedom

LOL thanks Suze.

Saturday Morning

They look so big now.

I think that must be dad feeding the chicks ... apparently he is a third smaller than the female.

I was watching them earlier and there was 3 of them stomping in the gutter and had to turn down my volume as they were making such a racket.

The Sunday 7.30 pm feed - Last feed of the day...

Sunday night - mum just finished feeding 7.42pm

Incredible isnt it and another 20 to 22 days and they are fully grown and ready to fledge

Sure am pleased they are not my kids  - far too demanding

As the babies are moving around more often,

the admin zoomed the camera back out again to allow for a wider view

and now we can see mum watching over her little fluffs at night.

They are getting so big now.

Are they growing faster this year? Thanks for photos everyone, I keep forgetting to check them out, been too busy.

Monday 1st November 2021

Every time they flap baby fluff flies everywhere, revealing their feathers

Not long now until final take off I'm guessing.

Tuesday 2nd November

Just look at the wing span

May be an image of text that says 'LIVE'

Wow Suze ... very impressive.

Not much fluff left on the chicks now.

Wow, these are great pics, is this an annual event?

A long time annual event now I'm Myself ...

Since 1991, a pair of Peregrine Falcons has been observed in a nest on the rooftop of 367 Collins Street. As home to the only known peregrine falcon nesting site within Melbourne’s CBD, the building plays a surprisingly important role to the ongoing breeding success of these rare and fiercely territorial birds.

Thanks RnR for that info.

Look at his chick in the front ... looks almost ready ???

Have to agree with that Suze.

They're definitely gorgeous birds.

It must be quite frightening for them when they make that 'leap of faith'. Once they're off, no going back.

Reminds me when I was teaching my sons how to drive!

Heart in mouth, I wonder if their parents think!
