Early Election

Is there any truth in the new rumour that Rudd is getting ready to
call an early election in August? He & his minders must be
frightened that his downhill spiral will continue to the inevitable
dismissal of his Party, or the would not even concider it. It is
generally accepted that an electionin July/August (middle of
winter) will cost the Government votes. In actual fact, I think from
memory, that only 2 of our 40+ Federal elections has ever been
called in these months & 1 of those was in the middle of a World
War, so is very much an exception. So much for the outcome of
his $38M emergency advertising campaign.

Congratulations to all those who never ever make a typing error.

Plus of course, unemployment at it's lowest since WW2

You are wasting your time koko & jesse. The only way that you have any

way of getting through to these blind supporters is by hitting their pockets.

In the last 2 months alone this apparently deaf, maniacal, self opiniated

spendthrift has wasted over $5,000 for every man, woman & child in this

Country. If fwed's pension was actually reduced by $200 per fortnight for

the next year, you would hear his screams on the other side of the Earth.

It is a Political fact that is doesn't matter what a Party does, the ground

supporters will not change their vote. Rudd is so bad that in the last 6

months, around 5% of his supporters have changed their allegence to

the Greens & their collective brain has not told them that the change will

still give them the very thing that they want to get rid of.

God help Australia

The liberals should now be getting big money from the mining sector for their election advertising as well as the miners advertising for them.

You see Innes, this is the difference. Vague phrases thrown into the mix ...usually from the latest Labor mantra...as compared to facts and figures which can be verified, and yes while it'll make no difference to some, I at least know that what I'm posting in those figures above, can be verified.

They have been posted by me a number of times over the last two and a half years....with a link, so if anyone has the patience to search, there it is. Or they can probably be verified through the Auditor General's office.

Also, as has been noted before, there are lots of readers of these forums who don't necessarily contribute.

As far as money for advertising goes, no-one has so far been able to tell me how many homeless could be housed for $38million of taxpayers' money, which has been used by this govt under the false misrepresentation of a national emergency.

Or for the $??millions on an advertising campaign for a non-existent health reform, neither of which has even gone through Parliament.

I see also the unions have alrady started using their members' contributions to misinform the public about the Libs.
