Dog who went missing with his owner after their boat capsized is found ALIVE in a Sydney Harbour cave - as desperate search for missing man continues

NEW A dog (left with rescuer Dylan Goodearl) has made a miraculous escape by swimming to shore after a boat capsized but a desperate search is still trying to locate the pet's owner. Darren Huber, 49 (right), and the pooch headed out of Sydney Harbour to test drive a 3.5m runabout with the vessel's owner Forest Kousal, 25. But at about 3am on Saturday the boat capsized in rough seas off Dobroyd Head near the entrance of the harbour, sending the two men and the dog into the water.

I was listening to the radio yesterday and the commentator said apparently neither of the men were wearing life jackets. They should know the rules of boating, always were a life jacket and have lights on the boat and always carry flares.  The dog could have easily been taken by a shark but thank goodness he had the brains to swim to shore.

My late baby a Chocolate standard poodle, she was small for a standard but was not a mini or toy.

I had to put her to sleep aged nearly 12 ten years ago.  Very sad.
