What make Phyl and where is it made ?

It is "Stirling" made especially for Aldi Stores and comes with guarantee etc.

Good looking big fridge frost free and all the bells and whistles for $800 so if anyone is interested worth going into to see if it suits.

We would not mind a new fridge but would be a shame to chuck our big working well one away albeit it is getting on in years but nothing wrong with it.

The Aldi fridge. has a 4 * rating. It is a battle to get anything made in Australia now more's the pity but I do not know anymore about it.

Thanks Phyl--mine still goes well but over 20 years old now and it does leak water under the crispers--don't have a Aldi here but interesting they have those--I will tell my friend--she has to get a new one and she goes down the coast--and they have one there

I forgot to add Jane it comes with free deliver to the door not inside or unpacked but to (maybe inside the door not sure about that) anyway dosn't cost $50 delivery, unless cannot be dropped off after the delivery truck tries twice then could cost $100 but otherwise it is free to the door they said. Ours is 20 years old also, but goes fine still.

Is is definitely made in Australia ..........a lot of their products are made overseas and this item could well be also .........I would rather pay a bit more for a local product for sure ..........and thus help to keep jobs in Australia

Yes I always ask if it is made in Aussie--most of the time they say it is made off shore--but I do try and buy Aussie owned and made

I have the leaflet because we did think maybe we would buy a new one and the price excellent. but it being Savings Month March thought "What do we do with our good reliable older still good one" ??

We maybe have a drink once every 5 years or so re alcohol, so no need for a drink fridge.

and we decided not to buy one!!!! but before I put the leaflet in the recycle bin we measured the area against the fridge measurements our fridge is, and the new one would go, and it would just fit and hence the fridge is:-

I will not have a fit of the vapours this time because Clay was nice to me no worries no need for anyone to get upset.

But did I just get 3 kisses?

I have a migraine so nice cold cloth with ice in it so no worries catching me I am not going to faint lol.

I cannot find where the fridge is made but regardless very hard to find much at all not made offshore and I also do try to buy Aussie Made.

Whomever wants one I cannot imagine them lasting for long but maybe they will keep getting them in. A front load washer there also (and my washing machine is not a youngster now either but once again washing fine) so not going to pay I think was just $499.000 and I think reduced from $599 - such a nice looking piece of equipment.

I actually find heaps and heaps of Australian Made at Aldi as opposed to other supermarkets to be honest and everything great quality and everything is able to be taken back if it is not up to standard.

Have you had any experience with the front loader washing machines Phyl--VERY slow take ages to do a load--you have to bend down--and you really can't soak clothes in them--and not easy to add something once they are going--my Daughter has one and I wold never have one after using hers
