You are So right Nautilus it IS very good news. Thank you.

and the senior gentleman made sure he took his time

to find "just the right lady" to share the hopefully years

they have left together.

BUT hey Nautilus would you kindly explain no 2???

"he is too old to realise what he is missing out on after marriage"

I think that is very naughty of you :(.

As if he was a Philanderer ( like Fwed.) now is the time to become

ole faithful.

..

I am going to ask Peter's Mum who is also 99 if there

is anyone she could ask to marry her (BUT he has to have money

to leave to us) lol

Phyl,

The departed and sadly missed Sid James often referred to a 'bit of rumpo', which as most married men complain disappears with the confetti (now replaced by environmentally correct rice to increase the population of feral pigeons and sparrows).

Shouldn't I be getting points for being sensitive by including the film of the big day?

Thats a lovely story, we need more like this.Yes Nautilus you do deserve points for bringing the story to us and also for your cheeky humour.Wobbly

Wobbly,

Thank you kindly. I am the first to say that few men deserve their wives. :cheese:

Nautilus, choosing to completely misinterpret your last comment, I can say that I certainly didnt deserve ANY of my three wives. The first two, because I am a nice guy and didnt deserve the pain they caused me and my current wife as she is an angel and far too good for me.

I wont even speculate on what those ladies might say about me in responding to a similar comment about wives deserving their husbands :red:

What did you do differently to get the third one?

I would not mind mating 'errors' if I could make the same mistakes singer Rod Stewart did. No wonder he kept making mistakes. I wish I had been present in the crowd up front when his final choice, Penny Lancaster, walked on stage with a bagpipe and tartan skirt while Rod was performing. He didn't miss a beat and later kissed her, introducing her as his GF. It is on YouTube but I don't remember which song it was. Hey, if anyone knows....

Yay, I have remembered that song, it was Rhythm of My Heart. Rod sang at the Royal Albert Hall for the troops in Iraq............and Penny very kindly made an appearance. Huge thanks to both.

If there is a second life I sure hope I can sing like Rod.
