Would you pay $50,000 to travel to space?

Paid tourist flights to space are not a new thing with Virgin Galatic is currently charging US$450,000 for a 90-minute return flight to space.

But how about a more realistic $50,000 price tag for a 6-12 hour flight?

World View is expecting to commence flights in 2024 using a stratospheric balloon that will reach roughly 100,000 feet for 3-4 hours before returning to Earth.

The two launch sites for 2024 are the Grand Canyon in the United States and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Is travelling to space on your bucket list?

Space travel is definitely NOT on my bucket list.

Prefer to sit back and relax watching episodes of Star Trek

and Live Long and Prosper  :)

Yep!!! Taking it out of the children's inheritance!

Good  one!  Let's see who gets there first...I would like to go too!

You couldn't pay me to travel into space.

If I was much younger I would love to go into space. Not sure I'd want to do it in World View's balloon though.

No you'd have to pay me $50,000 to venture into space. I'd put it towards paying for a few people I'd  willingly see go to Mars.
