I hope that the visitors to www.seniors-forums.com/aboutseniors are now mostly using this forum.

What many of you will be wondering is why I started that forum and why I it is now closing.

I will quote from my last message on the "old" forum;

My father started About Seniors and the website always had a forum that was very poor (incredibly bad) and we basically shut down that forum. So I started this forum (with permission from @bout Seniors) with the intent of still being involved in what my Dad started. It has however now reached the point where this forum and the @bout Seniors "Meeting Place" are duplicating services.

BTW if anybody wants to buy the domain name "seniors-forums.com" it is currently ranking 5th out of 766,000 results for a Google search on "seniors forum" - thanks for all your support!!![/quote]

Actually it ranks #3 if you only search in Australia - I can't thank the site visitors enough - of course I wont mention the 200 spammer registrations I receive every day :-(
