That sounds like a great idea and I too would be happy to do the same. I would suggest that we put some words together and run it by "Admin" so that we do not step on any toes. It would be a laborious job and much easier done by admin with a similar "blanket email" to the one they send every week anyway.

AND a big "high" to Lolih and welcome.......get involved, you are not really a member until you have thrown a few "punches'..... :)

Just wondering where all the Santa (as it is Christmas time) and also fruit quality which at this time of year also would be a great read are written please, but sorry Keandah I can find just one Santa post, could you direct me please to the Precedences of masses of these posts as I see many posts but not these. You maybe seeing something I cannot see = would enjoy both though if you would be so kind.

I think people wander in and post if they choose. I am not sure reminding them they should, would work.

I personally might be inclined to say "you do what you want and I will do what I want" but maybe if Admin. did it, they may not be offended.

Thanks yaretzi, I think Keandha was referring to people preoccupation with Christmas festivities as an explanation for the lack of interest. You are quite right, there have been very few posts regarding Christmas, we seem to have been too caught up discussing climate change/ global warming/ emissions trading etc.

I have been giving more thought to the lack of interest in the "Meeting Place" and now think that maybe P.M.s may not be the way to go. I suspect that many people may have joined and then lost interest so, if they are not checking the site, obviously will not see the P.M.s

I will shoot a message off to admin and get their thoughts and see if we can organise an email to all members inviting them to check out the Meeting Place and join in discussions.

I hop in and out several times a daysometimes I post sometimes I dont depends if it is of interest or gets up my hooter ,for the most part, I am fed up with climate change , having politics shoved down mt throat but I love the fun bits,,I have a short fuse for some things and better to keep still fingers than go off and then regret it however I do wish one and all a very safe and Happy Christmas and a great new year

my comment referred to kfchugo's original post of "Where is everybody" which someone who could not be bothered opening their own post, just tagged their comments about Santa on to it. This went from football on to fruit quality, and the whole point of the original post was lost. Therefore "Where is everybody? Again had to be started.

I sent an email off to admin today outlining our ideas and seeking comments or suggestions - I will advise when I get a response.
