My all time favourite was the Telstra add re the Great Wall of China being built to keep the rabits out.



I agree that was amusing but it didn't make me race to Telstra shop.

Unfortunately some that are amusing or interesting become too much when they are shown a few hundred times.

sounds like Zapots tank.

Unfortunately for the advertisers, the ads we seem remember the products for are the ones we don't like.

Having said that. and going slightly off topic - I really enjoyed the TV Show "The Gruen Transfer" which was all about advertising and advertisements. One agency came up with a brilliant ad for beef. The showed a paddock full of sheep and when the cameras zoomed in, they had "eat beef" printed in large letters on their sides. That is clever advertising and straight to the point.

Pommy,subtle advertising beats blaring ads all the time.

They also had a good sense of humour.
