Some people living in Australia today have come from other countries and remember Christmas as a Child or a young adult, this is one I found from the USA of Wells Fargo!
Or this at the change of the century, but which century I ask myself?

This is something very hard for people in the Northern Hemisphere to understand, I have even spoken to some that didn't realize that Australia doen't have snow during our December/January weather!
I am imagining the feelings of being at war in another country and receiving a Christmas Parcel from home it brings tears to my eyes just thinking of it.

Mark McGowan reveals what he wants for Christmas and the thing that turns him into a bit of a GrinchBryce Luff

Mark McGowan has revealed how he gets out of putting up Christmas decorations and what he’s hoping to score under the tree, as he prepares for a National Cabinet meeting to discuss the emerging Omicron threat.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison is expected to use Tuesday’s gathering to urge premiers and chief ministers to stick to reopening plans, despite the new COVID variant.
And despite their verbal scraps throughout the pandemic, WA’s Premier - at this stage - appears to be on the same page.
“It will be late January, early February,” Mr McGowan told Mix94.5’s Pete, Matt and Kymba of his plan to finally drop borders to the rest of the country.
“We’ll just see what they say about Omicron. It seems, although there’s various reports, it’s no more lethal than the Delta strain.
“If that’s the case that would not change our plan at this point in time but we’ll just wait to hear what they say about Omicron today.”
Meanwhile WA’s leader has revealed he’s more Grinch than Christmas merrymaker when it comes to setting up decorations, saying he’s “spending a lot of time at the office” to get out of helping around the house.

“Christmas trees are unnecessarily complex these days so I try and stay away,” he said.
“They’re all itchy and the whole thing is very annoying. Fortunately I have a 12-year-old girl who loves it. She’s going to be doing that over the weekend.”
Mr McGowan also opened up on the Christmas gift he most hopes to find under the tree (he hasn’t helped to put up).
“All I ever ask for is new shirts,” he said.
“I’m very just a dad. New shirts is all I ask for because I go through them so quickly.”
