Watch: naughty doggy destroys domicile

Ever wondered what your dog gets up to whilst you're out on the town?

This doggy was left at home one day, so thought he a good book might be the ticket to overcoming his boredom. Obviously, the book did not hold his attention – not the purpose for which it was designed anyway.

I'm not going to ruin the rest of the clip, so why not watch and find out for yourself?

Have you ever had a similar experience?

My present 6 year old dog did have one expensive episode as a puppy. 2 Library Books had to be paid for around $60.00 but it was the Reading glasses on top of them that proved really expensive as she ate them plus the emergency trip to the vet as she swallowed the lenses. All up pretty expensive.

Gee whiz Viv, I bet you learnt to keep your glasses locked away in a safe place after that :).

All of the bottoms of my table chairs are covered in puppy chews going back to the '80s. I'm attached to them...the loved dogs are dead now but the spirit of their puppyhood lives on in the dining room.

No although I did have my Lab' chew the fly of a tent -- a little-- that I had up to air b5 putting it away

Ha Ha left alone and a pup will go wandering to find entertainment.

If you work and leave him or her alone - best to get 2 dogs - and fit a doggie door to outside so can play etc - usually enough

A bored and lonely dog can cause havoc.

Labs are lovely dogs but do have a rep to cause mischief!

I had 2 dogs -- the Lab' was an adtoped one that had been very badly treated and had only had her for about 7 months so she was scolded but forgiven.

The other Dog a Basett never did a thing wrong she had been trained

By the look of the window, its an apartment.

Large dogs need a lot of exercise, and there are many things you can do nowdays to keep them busy.

Pet sitters, creche, etc.,

Been there, done that, its not the dogs fault.

completely agree. That's just the doggy saying 'play with me, or at least take me for a bl##dy walk!!!'
