Victorian Politics

In the midst of the saga that is the Fed Election Campaign, Victorians are also facing an election in November.
So it might be worthwhile if interested and a Victorian, to have a look at what is happening here. If you think NOW that power bills have escalated in recent months, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
If he were honest, he'd campaign in the coming state election on: vote for a Brumby government to finish the job of wrecking Victoria's once-great public services and screwing you blind to boot.

What will cutting 20 per cent of Victoria's emissions, the equivalent of cutting Australia's by 5-6 per cent achieve? Even less sweet ... and you know the rest.

But the impact on every Victorian would still be devastating. Both the direct cost in your power - and water - bills. That desalination water would be even more expensive. And the indirect cost in a wrecked state economy.

At least, he's given us fair warning before the election. Vote for John and financial suicide.

It seems very likely that I will see my once proud home State of Victoria reduced to a rust bucket and laughing stock , for the second time.
First under the stewardship of Cain/Kirner, and next possibly under Bracks/Brumby.

The Brumble weed has never been elected by the people but has wormed his slithery way into the position twice.

FACT.

Wind and solar power can not replace Hazelwood and it will not be closed.

Melbourne needs more power now and the quickest way to get clean power is a nuclear power station near Phillip Island and that will take ten years to build.

Australia's contributes only 1.5% of world pollution and should do nothing.

Global wanking ......sorry warming is just another ploy to get more money for services.

Don't believe them.

I worked for them and understand their methods.
