Vale Robert Loggia
Oscar-nominated actor Robert Loggia, known for playing hard-nosed gangsters in Scarface, Prizzi’s Honor and The Sopranos but also as Tom Hanks' kid-at-heart toy company boss in Big, died on Friday at his home in Los Angeles after a five-year battle with Alzheimer's. He was aged 85.
“His poor body gave up,” said his wife Audrey. “He loved being an actor and he loved his life.”
“A great actor in heart and soul,” tweeted former co-star Tom Hanks. “A sad day.”
