Using a raw egg in your Pot Plants for Fertilizer

Placing one uncracked raw egg in a pot then cover with soil and plant will serve as a natural fertilizer for the growing season.

i'd never heard of this method, so i did a bit of research.  it is much better to use just the shells of eggs as this gives calcium to the plant.  a whole egg can smell as it turns rotten and can attract rodents, foxes, dingos, etc.
