Nah, Pete, I find him obnoxious to be quite honest.  Only watched the show a couple of times.....conceited people not my cuppa tea  LOL. but would be boring old world if we all liked the same thing eh ;)

That's true Radi , the show has been running a longtime since 1977 with Jeremy a din it's present format since 2002 and is the most popular factual show world wide  . It now is really about three middle aged blokes having a laugh and taking the piss out of PC stuff shirts , I enjoy it . The petition is a bit tongue in cheek in the same vein...

Only watched it a few times, then again I am not a TV fan of anything very much. Some of the cars were of interest, Clarkson and Coy less so.

I shall leave the signing to those who follow Clarkson and Coy.

I believe Sydney is chasing after the Melb. Grand Prix, hope they get it and leave the Lake area alone. To me watching cars go in a circle is a waste of precious time, you would get more thrills sitting on a chair watching the traffic on the Point Nepean Highway.

So as you see a motoring show has no appeal to me.

Money speaks all languages, especially if your going to lose a lot.

350 million people watch Top Gear world Wide . Plus the local spin off shows as in the US with top Gear US . 

in Australia a top Rating show will be one million .

fancy a petition for a drunk,  foreign,  tv actor. Crazy.

I think you should be careful with your defamatory remarks ..

Clarkson is, in my humble opinion, a self indulgent and over inflated twit. I shall not be signing. If he is re-instated, let it be on his own talent and initiative - he was suspended on his own merits.

You can't get blood out of stone, I thought I had a good case against Gerry when I sued him, as he had confessed to his crime, but the judge threw it out as he said Gerry was a professional liar, who only told the truth if paid good money..cash.

British Prime Minister David Cameron commented on the affair on Wednesday, describing Clarkson as “a constituent of mine, he is a friend of mine, he is a huge talent” in an interview with the BBC.

“He does amuse and entertain so many people, including my children who’ll be heartbroken if Top Gear is taken off air, I hope this can be sorted out because it is a great programme and he is a great talent,” Cameron said.

Must be worried about the next election....just because so many think he is father xmas does not make him so. what is the population of Gt. Britain and Australia ? what per centage have watched or watch his show? what p/c  voted.  it was a one sided voting procedure.

What a let down!!!..at first Ithought the WE DID IT" meant Tony had resigned.

What was that you were saying a out old fogeys....

Great news Jeremy Clarkson given the boot...great news...and since I am one of the millions who sent emails to the BBC...I am more than pleased!!!

I did not participate in keeping him or getting rid of him but I am pleased that sanity has prevailed at the BBC.
