What a worry, and what can we do about it?

[size=3] [b]I heard today on the radio that there is a glut of potatoes overseas and they are going to allow them to come into Australia, which will put our growers out of business as overseas farmers are subsidised while ours are not..



There was talk that McCains, who buy potatoes for making chips, have told our farmers they want to pay them less as they can get the overseas ones cheaper.



So look out for Australian Manufacturers using these overseas potatoes for making frozen chips to sell here.

It really makes you wonder why the hell they are importing all this darn food when we can supply it all here AND with better conditions--

It is so hard shopping these days trying to buy Aussie stuff--and the print is so small.

It appears that we are a 'dumping ground' to be used and abused and our natural resources being sold to to keep other countries in business. Who gets the benefits on both sides of the fence? We don't!

McCain's is moving from Tasmania to New Zealand is is paying our farmers here less by $45 per tonne. also taking less this year because importing cheaper spuds which will maybe be not clean and green but full of crap literally.



Bird's eye and Edgerly are all owned by Simplot, an American company, also based in Tasmania, where we grow the greenest tastiest veggies and they too are now importing Chinese Veggies grown in untreated human shite and with the added benefits of E coli, DDT, Dildrin and other cancer causing banned chemicals found in these veggies by Aussies on TT regularly.



So avoid them at all costs. But telling young women with kiddies not to buy because of above is a waste of your time as they are cheaper and they just plain don't care. Maybe because they have been pc educated in harmony and biodiversity and you cant say that about Chinese veggies as racist!



But a good laugh for me is that all those folk eating out in down market or even up market cafes restaurants like "Don't you know who I am" Belinda, where they use catering packs of frozen veggies for convenience are dining on Chinese grown veggies these days as Simplot are the biggest supplier along with McCain to wholesalers of catering packs.



There is only one local restaurant we would even consider eating out at because the chef buys at our farmers market daily so we are safe there from nasty additives we shouldn't have to even think about if our governments were more concerned for the health of their citizens,

rather than the health of their standing in the world community and at the UN.



It is about time we demanded citizens referendums and told them we value our sovereignty and want to eat our own home grown food and buy our own manufactured goods first and only import that we don't grow our selves or cant make.



Keeping the money within our country's purse and the jobs that go with it so all can receive benefits and live to be healthy old folk on a decent pension. Super wont do it for most who haven't been paying in a lot more than 9% and for 55+ years.



Our main exports are mining resources and they will sell regardless we just dont have to pander to them that buy off of us nor put up with inferior goods. And if the International Lawyers dont like it - stuff em.

BTW only one new party offers citizens referendums. Also wants to cut right down in immigration too, and look after Australia and Australians before it looks after any others with anything left over. But you have to find it for yourselves. It is out there. This party will have a rough row to hoe as the Refugee Advocates and the whole industry based on them will be up in arms as their jobs will be on the line.
