My dog, a Border Collie cross is shedding. It only takes a couple of warm days, then my carpet gets that rather blackish sort of tinge. Drag the vacuum cleaner out every day - run it over the floor. Then, to my delight, I found that the dog rather likes to be vacuumed! It's another game I play with her! Still have to get the vacuum cleaner out, but it is so much easier to vacuum the dog, than it is to vacuum the floor. She doesn't like her tail to be done, so I brush it.
