Woohoo love your tips Ray, i have both of them in a sweep...lol might add i couldn't pick a winner in a million years but there is always a first time.

Hope you do well Peanuts, please don't hit me if they prove to be lame ducks.

I'm hedging as I said before so I might make a buck or two. However it's all a bit of fun.

Great Race:- I did not realise Michelle was riding. What a Victory, first woman to win a Melbourne Cup. I remember when The Mum passed away leaving the family with Dad and think they are such a lovely family.

Prince Of Penzance....what a wonderful story. If I had known he had a female jockey, Downes Syndrome strapper, small time owners and was running at 100 to 1 I would have definitely put a bet on him. Would also have picked him here and won the rain. But no, I ignored the whole thing, read nothing and now live with painful regret (groan, sob, sob).

Gerry, I did say I would have the New Zealanders as second pick. Surely that entitles me to a consolation prize?

Folks, was about to start sobbing today, when my princess told me she had chosen the winning horse without telling me because she thought I would have a chuckle. Chuckle? her horse won, celebrating with the neighbours. See you later

Robi, I am getting a bit worried about Zapot. He delivered rain to you and to Sandi but none to me.

Also the Bowen Mango is still there - he admits stopping at a pub which had no beer after he spent time there and thus forgot about delivering the mango to Geomac.

Seth was right when he told me that Zappie was unreliable
