The Loony Greens

I wonder if those so disenchanted with Labor will even look into the type of Green candidate being offered? The woman hoping to hold the balance of power in the Senate by standing in SA as the lead candidate is a typical loony Green and when younger apparently protested at the drop of a hat. For some strange reason our Sunday Mail gave her a large write-up and wasted ink and paper in the process.

She is quite happy to increase household bills to ease pollution, has smoked dope and willing to accept CLIMATE CHANGE REFUGEES?? As David Koch said on Sunrise we badly need a third major party because “who wants the loony policies of the Greens”? but I digress.

This 'candidate' is a lawyer, University lecturer, protester, dope smoker and is married to Mark Parnell a member of the SA Upper House and State Greens leader. If she is successful I can see why she doesn’t care if the Loony Greens introduce a harsher ETS than Rudd attempted, because she will have 2 Parliamentary salaries in the one household and the rest of us can go suffer.

She cycles everywhere (or catches buses) and is currently recuperating after being skittled by a 4 wheel drive. Is this what the Greens want us all to do and virtually revert to cycling, walking or using a bloody horse and cart in the name of being green? What an absolute wanker!

I'm waiting to see how many incompetent candidates Labor roll of the Nicole Cornes calibre

She can't be very bright as she once admitted in a newspaper interview that she had voted liberal and given John Howard a glowing report in her newspaper column.

Tanwin, I think you might be surprised at how many candidates around Australia have been dope smokers. I don't think that is as a big deal as you make it out to be.

Vote Greens and we will be in big trouble

Possibly so fwed, and once they 'come out' and tell today's youth its wrong, you can see what hypocrites it makes them seem. I remember we had a former member of the Democrats who could see no problem with taking Ecstasy-- her political career ended soon after.

It was the dope added to all her other dopey ideas that made me very wary of her..

At last we agree on something PlanB, if only those disenchanted with Labor could see it.

So by that logic, at least 47% of the public are not very bright.

Looks that way although did 47% give John Howard a glowing report in their newspaper column ?

I have to laugh when I see or hear the word 'green'. It was used for a person who was new at a job, or stupid, etc:

The wordmap for green shows two relevant senses: "not fully developed or mature" and "naive and easily deceived or tricked." "Green behind the ears."........

I see Labor is raining money on Lindsay Tanner's seat of Melbourne in a desperate bid to fight off the Greens at the federal election. Would it be a good thing or a bad thing for the Greens to become a more powerful party. What difference would it make to the mix, anyone knows?

It would be a disaster if the Greens ever became a governing party because they are still glued to this Global Warming Crap. I think that's the main reason behind targeting Tanner's marginal seat because Rudd failed to dupe the rest of the world (and the Opposition) into his ETS -- read Enormous Tax Slug. By the way where is Penny Wrong these days?

If the Greens have their way with a more severe ETS (as they always claimed Rudd's proposal didn't go far enough) we will be unable to afford the bare necessities in life by being taxed out of existence.

Now I dont mind if they want to send the logging industry in Tasmania broke, take drugs or be homosexuals, as long as it doesn't affect me, but quite frankly the danger they pose to our way of life, makes my skin crawl.

The Greens, like genital herpes, are to be avoided at all costs

Yes I agree Tanwin--plus the fact that they would enable even more boat people in--

I agree that if the stopped the logging in Tassie ie --Gunns--it would be good thing--however the Government are controlled by this company--I call it the the "Gunnerment"
