I have never had the flue injections and don't intent to,I haven't had a dose of the flue since 1970,My Doctor wants me to have them, I tell him if I get sick put me into the hospital up the road and look after me,

I don't get sick very often or catch things easy,everytime my uncle goes away over seas he comes back with a cold

Had some slight unwellness after a flu shot on a previous occasion, but nothing like the effects of a flu.



Still paying through the nose for recommended vaccinations and my doctor does not charge the scheduled fee. Will think about it after getting over the shock of bills for maintenance, utilities, insurance and tyres. The joys of self-funded retirement with kids.



Damnit, should have found some Aboriginal heritage years ago. Kids would have had the big lift through tertiary education (me too!), a safe guvvy job would have been given to me and I wouldn't have had to pay for fishing licences.



Apologies, back to the bills.

Never had it last year because it was combined with the other --swine flu--is it this year ? or is it once again just the normaal flu one?

Like Jessej I haven't had the flu ever as far as I know. I have worked on with people going down like flies around me and never had more than a cold. Hubbie never gets the flu either.



Now my sister has been quite ill after having the flu injection this year and tells me others have too.
