The Coffee Break

Following on from BevG's favourite site maybe we can start a Coffee Break.

Hello everyone, just a quiet day today, took my little dog for a walk to Aldi, I swear if he ever got lost he would turn up outside an Aldi Store, he goes there often with me as it is just over the road. 0X Lolih

No never have but seems many do

Very tempting but going out for dinner tonight so need to watch the dreaded cals.. ;-)

Enjoy the dinner and hell to the cals just enjoy

The cats have 9 lives, enjoy your dinner.

I like Smoked Salmon very much ................

Well you cannot have any Clay - it is baked beans on toast night.

: :-/ It's lovely and peaceful in here, I think the sun is over the yardarm, time for a glass of whatever, iI think.

Might even have a choccy mint too.

We had home made soup Phyl and it was a new recipe and a winner I must say ...........since then lolih I have had a couple of glasses too ..............I often sit outside at about 8 pm and see the vapour trails of airplanes headed for the Eastern states ...........They would be higher than 35000 feet I reckon ............its somehow comforting ............we go to Narrabri for a holiday soon and a family wedding ..................But not this weekend ................

I watch it and how they keep a straight face sometimes amazes me and a slise of apple charlotte sounds wonderful

They have been cutting down a HUGE tree in front of me--it was dead and they had to have cranes and all--must have cost a heap--like thousands. I am able to see the heads again now

:-) Morning all, another sunny day. How lucky PlanB to have such a a view, it must be awesome now the tree is gone.

Yes lolih I do have a great spot--used to be a better view but as the trees grow it cuts it out a bit--but still very god from the back yard , however I do Love the trees and it makes for a nice bushy area --but they do shed a heap of leaves--a never ending job blowing or sweeping them--(when I get around to it these days) but can't have it both ways.

I would love a couple of trees, I have a small back courtyard which is very pretty, but the man next door got rid of the trees and now it is so hot. I have put up a shadesail though so it's alright now.

Yes trees are great for keeping out the heat--if they are not too big--there is a lot of BIG ones here--and getting bigger.

You have to be careful that they don't block the drains as well--I love a natural looking garden and not too manicured.
