We were sound asleep, the sleep of the innocent,

when a clap of thunder scared the daylights out of me,

I thought the japs were back.

resulted in no phone, no power, looked as if the fridge

was going to be a soggy mess, after about two hours

the power was restored.

couldn't even get onto the computer to moan.

It's Christmas day, all is well.
