Just saw a report on ABC news re the ever increasing number of people seeking help for food.
The report confirmed that some cannot get by on the pension/newstart if they pay rent and other essential bills like gas/water/electricity.
Electricity up 20%, Gas up 7.5% in the past year. Rent ??? Food - not enough left
