Supermarket giant Coles has been forced to issue a product recall for three of its popular Nature’s Kitchen Pizza frozen pizzas after an undeclared allergen was detected in the products.

The urgent recall, issued on Friday, lists Coles 250g Nature’s Kitchen Meat-free Meat Lovers Pizza, the 250g Coles Nature’s Kitchen Hawaiian-style Pizza and the 250g Coles Nature’s Kitchen Veggie Pizza.

The pizzas are advertised as being ‘deliciously vegan’ but have been found to contain milk. Apart from not being vegan, the undeclared milk could be a health hazard to anyone with dairy allergies.

The pizzas have been on sale since February 2021 and Coles has confirmed anyone who purchased the products can return them to Coles for a full refund.
