When we are conceived, we are a single stem cell, called embryonic, which is in the news and what all the controversy is about. As the baby develops it becomes a mass of foetal stem cells. Then after about nine months we are born. After birth the primary way that the body rebuilds and regenerates our organs and tissue is with Adult Stems Cells which are found throughout the body with the largest concentration, and the most important ones, found in the bone marrow.

For some unknown reason, when we hit about 25-30 years of age, these adult stem cells start to stick to the bone marrow and don’t get released into the bloodstream in the same amounts as they did when we were younger. Without the necessary amount of circulating adult stem cells needed to repair and replace damaged cells the body begins to break down and the aging process begins.
