There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
Sir Winston Churchill

English Anthem Jerusalem

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among these dark Satanic Mills?

Bring me my bow of burning gold:
Bring me my arrows of desire:
Bring me my spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire.
I shall not cease from mental fight
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green & pleasant land.

(William Blake)

AUSTRALIA’S PATRON SAINT

LAST Thursday, the Catholic bishops of Australia held a special ceremony at St Mary’s cathedral in Sydney to renew the patronage of the Virgin Mary under the title “Mary Help of Christians” as the Patron Saint of Australia.
The Australian bishops decided that the Centenary of Federation and the beginning of the new millennium provided a good occasion to renew Australia’s devotion to Mary Help of Christians.

Australias own Patron Saint ...wonder what her day is ???!

Hey Abbs Twils Cats Radi Sandi and anyone else who vaguely remembers that Sophie my 13 year old loves riding .

On the week end she was at an event out at Camden "The Oaks" and was in an open class .  Where she is up against Adults . She led the field and was coming first until the last event when she was pipped by Brooke Campbell , an Olympian by 1.5 secs and took second place ....

The changes to the Moore Park Stables and the loss of Rose Gough will be  a loss to the community.

Yes, well done Sophie.  Keep up the good work.

I think she will be an Olympic Champion Sandi
