SO EASY (oh no she's back) and yummy :)

Just cut very ripe bananas (have to be really ripe for the sweetness and creaminess) in half or leave whole and freeze for some hours in zip lock bags and they are the yummiest ice creams (minus the cream) you have ever tasted.

Truly....amazing :)

And so this is where you have been - stuffing banyana's into your freezer!

then sampling them next day...........

If only B.V. if only

Phyl

Does freezing stop the banana from turning brown

Thats the amazing part Abby they do not go brown at all and taste just like the old "Barney Bananas" on the stick. Healthy and very low in cals.

Seggie. Isn't it great to see Phyl's name back?  I tried the Philly cream for dessert today as someone suggested it is good plus half the fat of ordinary cream. It is very acceptable but hard to refrain from having a couple of teaspoons. Thanks to whoever mentioned this. If there is any left after the use-by date, it will go into cakes. 50% less fat? Great.

Hope you have some very ripe frozen by now Bananas ready to chomp today Seggie. Good hey? Just let soften past the extra frozen state for the smooth on the palate taste.

I agree great tip the lower fat Philly. Has the right name also.

Great to see you here Phyl I hope all Ok

Always worse before the storm. Life wasn't meant to be easy as it has been said but still very sweet.

Hugs Taddy.

It is great to see Phyl back again...... Hope all is well Phyl.... thinking of you... Cheers.

to all and thanks D. :)

Seggie glad you enjoyed the philly cream for desserts.  Yep I was the one who mentioned it.  I have had to buy another one as we had a plum pudding left over from Xmas so I used it on that.

Seggie.  Hi Radish. Thanks so much. Can't wait to make scones, then Aldi's jam and the cream. Delish.
