She sheds that put man caves to shame

she shed

I came across these fantastic she sheds on www.boredpanda.com and couldn't wait to share them with you. They seriously put the old man cave to shame. Imagine having one of these blisful little (or big) sheds in your garden. Or do you already have something similar? What would your dream garden shed look like?

Which do you like?

I love pictures 4 and 5, I think it is the same shed. I could see myself hosting a beautiful Devonshire Tea with my dearest friends. Oh, the luxury of it.

Whoops!! Making a correction, 3 and 4.

I love them all...but I think  7th from the bottom would be my choice. I can just see myself curled up in a comfy chair with a blanket on my knee reading my favourite poems!

Yep I like them but I have also enjoyed the basic earthiness of a number of men's dens too over my time. All you need is music, old comfy chairs and some space for dancing. There is something very appealing about grunge and Melbourne is good at presenting that image. So are men's dens.

all of them are very beautiful and creative.  and i also love the gardens.

3and 4 for me ladies...

Very similar to my conservatory, just colours a little different. Many hours are spent writing ,reading and relaxing in there, and it is my sanctuary far from the maddening crowd...lol

I also have the hanging lamp but mine is coloured lead light with a large candle in it.. Very atmospheric..and so lovely at night when it rains..

We seem to have similar taste cranky...our conservatory is the main reason we bought the house many years ago. Lead lights and dimple glass. I am sitting in there right now having breakfast!!

Similar tastes and views in many things Thea...

That's what makes us so unique and unfluffable..

We have somewhere to meditate , relax, and look out at the beauty of nature...( smile)..

They look like real "herhouses".

I had re- read that Fast Eddie...I thought.. "What the cluck?" I nearly ruffled my own feathers...

LOLOL..

cranky, I would NEVER think of such a thing (but am glad it caught your eye). I seem to say quite a few things on this site that get certain cretin commentors' feathers ruffled - and you know how much I care? No, even LESS than that. Have a great day and keep smilin'.

                       - F.E.

P.S. Nice chook.

Love them all - especially noting that it appears none are filled with electronic crap (tv etc)

- as well, they are neat and clean, ahhhh.

'She Shed'...Hell wouldn't mind living in one permanently...My needs are simple and basic and this would suit as far as I'm concerned....Not much interest in sprawling McMansions or similar ....

Yep would suit me as a form of basic accommodation hopefully with access to a toilet somewhere on the site....

Two words comes to mind Disposable Income, thats she and his shed.

Nice if you can indulge in that sort of thing.

A very realistic observation.

"Small House Movement" is being mentioned a lot recently at least by people I know who don't want to live in McMansion communities and live a simpler life.

The tiny house movement (also known as the "small house movement"[1]) is a description for the architectural and social movement that advocates living simply in small homes. There is currently no set definition of what constitutes as a tiny house, however a residential structure under 500 square feet (46 m2) is generally accepted to be a tiny home.[2]

my son is converting his 'man cave' into a castle for me. It has to be extended (of course) and the extension has to be not 'attached' (it has to be flowing on from the cave building) so I think No. 8 would suit my needs. Lots of timber and stone (marble) and glass. Protected from the westerly winds by suitable trees and gardens. Like Shetsol noticed, a loo, and shower and SMALL kitchen (most meals will be provided by my chef d-i-l!!) and somehere for my philosophy books and somewhere to have my cuppa. Ohhhh, I just love getting old. I am so lucky.

"She sheds that put man caves to shame" ? Are you kidding or what! ? Why would girlie 'dolls houses' put 'man caves' to shame? Besides we don't have 'man caves', we have "MAN SHEDS" where real masculinity gets peace and quiet away from the 'squeaky she-godzillas', where innovative metalwork and woodwork is created by hand and mind that restores pride in oneself. Shame of you 'old-sheillas' for degrading men and trying to prove that you are better. You are not!

relax and  keep taking your medication, HS.  perhaps HS stands for 'high stress'?

 kika, you little pussy!

They are all very pretty and the gardens are also lovely, however I would be happy with a large garage or a large separate shed that is very practical ,   must be totally practical.

I'm part of the McMansion movement. After subsistence small living in my childhood days ... I bloody love it!!
