September pension adjustment

It looks as though the next pension day will be a nice one.

My pension has risen by $12.68 (September adjustment ? )and with the Pharmaceutical Allowance $5.80 and Pension Basic Supplement of $19.23 and a one time payment of Telephone Allowance of $34.60 and a one time payment of Utilities Allowance of $128.50.

Hopefully I will be able to pay part of my credit card off :)

But, I won't get it until October! The pension rise comes in after the 20th of the month, then "they" decide when we'll get the other allowances. I'll be filthy rich, for at least a fortnight. Whoopee!

I am happy for you Bev

Clay, I'm happy for me too, even though it may be short lived! In reality though, I appreciate every dollar I get - it all helps.

Bev. if you could buy anything regardless of cost to eat for dinner

this eve. what would you choose?

My tastes are so simple er chocolate. For Peter it is always prawns or

rack of lamb. I wouldn't really care if I did not have cooked meals and

could live on choc. and fruit.

Phyl.

Let's see, think I'd start with oysters Kilpatrick, then lobster thermidore and simple though it sounds, I'd finish with a well made trifle. Meanwhile, I'll have home made rissoles, mashed potato, peas, beans and carrots - all with gravy, followed by jelly and ice cream.

Home made rissoles from left over leg of lamb with assorted spices are my absolute melt in the mouth favourite ...............mind you the Lobster comes a good second or mayb e its a good first ........well done Bev
