Resident's note goes viral after food fight

An angry Sydney apartment building resident has left a hilariously passive aggressive note for another of the building's residents who claimed a $120 Door Dash order when it came to the building.

"Hi neighbours, ‘someone’ in the building inadvertently claimed my Door Dash order when it was delivered," the note begins.

"If you happened to be the one who accidentally claimed my order as yours, given it cost me $120, I’d love you to get in touch pronto and arrange reimbursement. If you can do this in the next day or two, I’d really appreciate it. It will save us a lot of time."

"It will save me having to bother [name] (who’s already overworked dealing with the theft of packages from people who don’t reside in the building) to get a copy of timestamped very clear video footage of you in the lobby taking my delivery from the Door Dasher [name] (he’s a lovely guy and has been very helpful), then in the elevator with my delivery, and then exiting the elevator on your floor (I won’t mention which floor yet here as I don’t want to embarrass you) with my delivery.”

The note went viral on social media this week after another resident posted it online.

The note goes on to mention that if the thief doesn't make good on reimbursement, the resident will be forced to involve the police, as they have the culprit's face on camera.

It's sparked fierce debate about what people would do in the same situation. Have you ever had a delivery stolen? How would you have handled this situation?

Straight to the Police, especially as the evidence is on CCTV!!

Yes, a case for the police.

No hesitation, immediately call the police. It's a horrible feeling having things stolen.
