Do you remember the corner store - long before the supermarkets came into being? I still have one! It's not as cheap as the supermarket, but you walk into the shop - they remember your name. And they will go out of their way to help you with want you want. My corner store still cooks their own corned beef/silverside - and will slice it to your requirement - thick, thin, shaved. They don't deliver any more. Used to take my grand-kids in, just so they could choose 20 cents of lolies. That's gone now too. But you can pick up a $1 bag of mixed lollies. Not quite the same, but still OK
