A few months ago I murchased an electrical item on Ebay which was advertised as having 12 months warranty from a seller who had 98% satisfaction rating. The electric motor fused around 7 months later after a total maximum of 10 hours of intermittent light use so attempted to claim under warranty.  The seller has done nothing other than to end discussion, Ebay and PayPal showed little to no interest in my problem, yet continue to use the seller.  Immediately after purchase the item arrived promptly and worked well, so I gave a five star review which I am now unable to retract.

I was warned that this could happen, but trusted Ebay and particularly the seller's approval rating.
