Its an Avatar when you do not have an Avatar ..........and I am not fussed one way or another Abby ..........I do like it when posrers have a distinctive Avbatar though and this one is not .........Avatars tend to show personality .........clay

I don't have an avatar because I don't know how to get an avatar. I have admiration for Fwed and others who have mastered this medium enough to do things that I don't yet know how to do. Especially  you Abby because you seem to have mastered more than others. Mind you, although admiring of your technological expertise, I don't have the same affirmative appreciation of your creative input as Twila does because I find it hard to figure where you really stand  on anything. I'm still trying to figure you out. Can you please explain why you have started this strand and what it is all about? Why not just be straight about what you think about gender difference rather than introduce the notion of dilemma? What are you really talking about when you say there is a dilemma? What is the dilemma? Is there something I am missing?

Abby I cannot see what your dilemma is, unless you are a raging feminist and want the extra choice of a very feminine looking one, with a swan neck and elaborate hairdo for instance, to show someones a woman? Expect Drew could do that for you. To me it had no hidden meaning,never thought about it,  tho' like Clay I like the personalised Avatars.

Actually the male avatar looks awfully like a cut out of a very well known female western singer who is very gay !!!

Thanks for your instructions Abby. I am the one with the dilemma now. The longer I keep my 'shadow of a wo/man' avatar, the longer everyone gets to see what a technological dummy I am. I will give it a go but will probably have to resort to help from one of the kids as usual.

Abby, I owe you an apology. I don't know where my head was at but I mistakenly thought  you were having a go at Fwed and his avatar when you opened this topic. Don't know why  I sprang to such a false assumption but I am clear now. So I am sorry that I raved on at you a bit.
