Food Standards Australia has issued a recall for a popular breakfast food.

The notice is for Margaret River Muesli Company’s Margaret River Gluten Free Muesli 500g. The issue relates to the presence of an undeclared allergen, gluten.

“Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the FSA says.

The product has been on sale at independent food retailers, including IGA, in Western Australia, and batches with the best-before dates of 29/11 and 14/12 are affected.
