Well that makes sense as to why Gerry keep s bumping the site -

he must think that some Poppy Rolls will self raise

For the last few months I have been trying to seperate eggs. Robi assured me you do this while the egg is in the shell.

Now thousands of eggs later and remains of all those eggs over my lounge floor, I still have not got it right.

I have finally decided that it is not for me to make poppy seed roll if it contains parts of eggs.

How to separate eggs:

Take carton of eggs from refrigerator. Place each egg from carton in different part of the house. Voila! Eggs are separated.

I could be labelled old fashioned but I hate people straining the eggs to separate the white or yolk through their fingers. I am a pain sometimes, as a "clean freak" when cooking.
