I went to the Centrelink site and it seems that it was $33 for phone and internet--paia on the 1st July

I got mine all in one lump sum - I think - there certainly wasn't any extra this week.

I got the $500 plus the $125--and this week I got $33 as well as the pension

:bug: Well, I feel very disappointed as I did not get the $500 Seniors Bonus. People I talk to say only some Seniors get it. Who do I ask about it.?

Ring Centrelink and ask them--I think it was only Age pensions that got the $500 ? but ask any way

I received an extra $154 this week and don't know what it was for - was welcome though.

And I can't log in to Centrelink till Monday as the log in is down for the weekend.

Are we supposed to have the pension rate reviewed this month (September) re the CPI.

That's what I thought too - the first payday after the 20th.

No I only got my normal pension--nothing more just checked

I have found out why I got the extra $154

It is $79 money owing and $75 rise in pension.

Previously they had deemed that I had an income from a super fund but when I started receiving an income (super fund is now an allocated pension) they said I was no longer getting an income.

Apparently the allocated pension is below some level that they allow.



So to sum it up, when I had no income , they deemed that I had an income but when I get an income they say I am not getting an income.

I phoned them to make sure there was no mistake as I didn't want to pay back overpaid amounts but was assured that everything is fine.

Now a fillet steak is on the menu for tonight as a celebration :)

gerryo, you were licky, we are not going to get our utilities allowance until the first payday after 20th, September, which means it won,t be paid until the October payment, after we have all paid our large wither bills, not much use after the ball. smiley

Yes it would be good to be able to get the UT payment B$ you pay the bills--would help heaps
