I'm looking for a new recipe book and the new Paleo Recipe book looks amazing, eveything is both healthy and (at least looks, so far) delicious! Any recommendations from experiences chefs ?

Heres a link to what i'm talking about: http://a88cb9l5q22vfx1j0c48n40r37.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=T1

I'm really hesitant to but it right away but from what I've seen online, all the reviews look great too.

Thanks alot!

......

I have seen many diets encorporate a REAL LOT of meat.

I could not cope with a diet like this as I could not eat heaps of meat

...

You state "everything is healthy" but we are not all the same and I know

I could not cope with this way of eating and cannot get my head around SO

much meat/fat even if they say lean meat but some meat diets do not mind

how much fat is on the meat and in fact suggest marbled meat.

...

Many diets and weight loss programmes around now and

even some saying "Fruit has more sugar in it than a Mars Bar"

SO it is very difficult for any of us to know

which way to go. if we are not happy with the way we are eating.

Far too many gimmicks around I feel.

...

Are you called japon? anyway $34 sounds o.k. to buy the book if you feel

everything looks healthy and for you.

...

Welcome to the forum and best of luck. The main thing is to find

"The right way of eating for our body".

....

I believe in "trying anything for a couple of months" if you feel like it. Maybe people on

here are into this way of eating and will let you know.

All the best

Phyl.

It looks to me The Evil Seth using a non de plume

is into flogging weight loss books now.

I hope you paid for this ad. Seth..................

Hi japon69007, I went into your website and to me it looks as though you might be an affiliate for this product. Like Phyl, it is not the kind of 'diet' that I would be looking at, (heaven knows that I need one every now and again :-) ) What I have found good for me when I need to lose a bit of weight after too much indulgence, is having what I want but in moderation, cut out the sugars if possible or at least cut down on it, with that do some exercise, it doesn't need to be a set exercise, things like house work is exercise, vacuuming, raking up leaves things like that, anything that requires moving around.

That's my two bobs worth anyway.

And a good two bob's worth at that

All we ask is Value for money........... ;-)

.....

I am similar Deanna but old fashioned and count calories

18 hundred a day and my weight is where I want to be, but

not everything works for everyone.

...

I had a big skim milk milk shake with whey pwder and blueberries

for lunch today - yes I know not everyone's cup of tea lol.

Makes the world go around how we all think and do differently hey?

...

Lovely cold wet day so another lazy day inside keeping warm and really

enjoy these days (Both Peter and I walk on the treadmill every now and again

when our bottoms seem to be getting too flat :) but we are very content.

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing.

Sorry Phyl, don't know that I could down the skim milk with whey powder, the blueberries would be fine, :-) I am cooking a pea and ham soup for lunch. I forgot to mention that walking the floor with my new grandson is a great and enjoyable exercise, :)

You girls are delightful in your diferences,I love skinny milk shakes but with added malt powder yum add blueberries yum yum,But you are right Deanna when I had my family at home ,I vacummed every day and was very fit now that I only have to do weekly,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Weeeeeeeeell lets just admit that I have added a few curves not exactly where I would prefer to have them,Im waiting for cellulite to become fashionable now.wobbly

Wobbly, what's the point of having 'skim milk' if you are going to put heaps of malt powder in there?????? Now talking about differences, here's one that you will all choke on your dinner for, I LOOOOOOVE full cream powdered milk, make into a thick paste and yuuuuummmiiieeeee, then we have Condensed Milk, and Caramel Condensed Milk, I use the powdered milk for my creamed rice, custards, and I can't forget my scones......... ooops I can feel the hips a moving out, that's streeeeeetching out :-)

I know I know buuuuuuuuuuuuut I love malted milk shakes.when we were kids we used to pinch spoonfuls of the babies sunshine powdered milk in those days and just make a lovely gluggy lump in our mouths that you would rub with your tongue to gradualy release the flavour. My sister when she first started working would buy tubes of nestles condensed milk as a treat and just gradualy give us younger kids a mouthful if she was feeling generous, usualy meant I had to do some job of hers in return like iron her uniform or something but I adored her and usualy did it anywayWobbly :)

Arrrrh the memories Wobbly, arrrh the memories. We use to have the condensed milk as a treat when travelling across the Nullabor when we were kids, those were the days my friend.............

Our very own and independent CSIRO has also published 'the CSIRO total wellbeing diet' book. It focusses strongly on preventing bowel cancer and diabetes, which is good news for seniors.

The CSIRO program is easy, nutritionally balanced, suitable for Australia and has been subjected to plenty of independent scientic review, where it has come up tops.

Thats realy interesting ,Nautilus I will check it out but did you never squeeze a tube of condensed milk into your mouth if not you were deprived of one of the many joys of being a kid in Australia lol Wobbly

Well, thanks a lot for the great replys, i finally decided to order one.. Along with half a dozen others I found on amazon.

I really hope there is a way to cook meals that are just as delicious as they are healthy.

Cheers
