Obama's disapproval rating grows even among Democrats.
President Barack Obama has hit a new low in the Rasmussen Presidential Approval Index. Obama is now at -22, with just 23% of those surveyed saying they “strongly approve” of his performance as President and 45% saying they “strongly disapprove.” It appears Obama is now losing ground among Democrats as well as Independents.
I wonder what the disaproval was for Bush--or would have been under the Pallin Government--

I wonder what the disaproval was for Bush--or would have been under the Pallin Government--

Bush had enough popularity to be able to be voted in a second time. Not sure about Obama and a second term.

There would not have been a Palin government as she was to be McCain's VP. I am not sure she will ever be the presidential candidate even though she still draws big crowds to her events. So far she has not taken a stand on whether she will or won't attempt to ge nominated.

Are you for real Bob--Bush was the biggest idiot and found it hard to put two words together--and what a bloody liar he was also--Pallin was VP but seeing that McCain was not a well man she might have become Pres" I find it hard to comprehend that someone such as she would be able to run a country--or that anyone could think of voting for her. Her knowledge is nil about most everything. I guess they are all puppets but at least Obama presents well.

I have to agree with you PlanB, I think Bush was the worst American president the world has ever seen.

Not real bright me thinks.

I guess they are all puppets but at least Obama presents well.

So...doesn't matter what a person's policies are, as long as they are photogenic and look good on tv, seem to be articulate...but in actual fact, are reading from teleprompters.

Bobagain, I don't know enough about American Politics to really make

any comments about your Presidents. But it is interesting to note, from

an outsiders point of view, that it requires an enormous groundswell

of support to get a President elected. Then all the other duly elected

representatives make sure that none of his proposals are passed into law.

About the only comment I have ever heard, with any consistancy, about

the American Presidents, is that every one the people put in, is the worst

President in history.

Yes they sure go on with a lot of hype--and seems to go on for so long--like mass hysteria--I don't know much about the USA politics either but I do know when I spot an idiot

Yes I am for real. Bush is only the worst president we ever had in the eyes of the far left liberal socialist communist progressives.

You have just said that the voters in the US are a bunch of stupid people. Pretty harsh thoughts. We have the authority to vote for or against as we please. The vote was FOR Bush and hopefully AGAINST Obama the next two elections. Obama was chosen based on his promises of transparency, bipartisan actions, and a new way of running the government. Most people assumed he was speaking as a centrist.

But instead he has brought us a very far left ideology for his plans. He works behind closed doors and does not listen to the people. His government is filled with corruption. So far most of his campaign promises have been broken. And he is taking the US straight into bankruptcy, just like Greece. So where is his brilliance?

Do pray for him as I am sure he will need it.

I guess in your eyes I am a far left liberal socialist communist progressive.

It is easy to insult those who do not share your idealogy.

As I said I know nothing of your politics Bob but if the people of America thought Bush was OK then sorry they have to be rather stupid, as the rest of the world thought he was an idiot--and also a liar

Bobagain, also the fact that Obama is losing support, and rapidly, from within his own Party, must surely be very telling.

Certainly, I don't pretend to be an expert on US politics, but I don't recall that ever happening to this extent.

Re George Bush. I saw a video when he went home to Texas after his term was finished, and the crowds that came out to greet him.

The speech he made that day was articulate and very moving.

The reason he has the reputation of not being articulate is in most part brought about by the media. Anyone these days can take a photo or video, and/or record audio, edit how they like, and send it viral through the i'net.

Bob, it is very similar to how the MSM here in Aus did their level best to portray John Howard as old and doddery. They would show over and over a clip of one time when he stumbled on some stairs. And yet, he was as fit as many younger than himself. An admission by some of the reporters who followed him on his daily morning walk. Some could barely keep up.

John Howard never used notes ever, let alone a teleprompter.

Yes I am sure that happens--the Media do show what they want you to know--I am sure Howard isn't dodery at all--how ever he did become a bit too full of himself and had to go or the workers wold have been in deep doo doo--he also became a sneaky polly

For those of you who think the voters in the US are stupid for voting for Bush TWICE, that certainly is your opinion, but not a fact.

It is pretty certain that many folks around Europe think little of the US as they rush to condemn the US for creating all the worlds problems. Twice in the last century the US was one of the biggest supporters and contributors for saving their sorry butts. No thanks for that from them. And many in the US wonder why we are still on hand to save their lands when they can not get up and help themselves. Where are most of those countries when the UN calls for help. Oh yes, they send a hundred or two but won't let them be in harms way. While the US sends thousands into the middle of the battles. Grand bunch of folks aren't they.

I gave you folks a list of far left groups. Take your pick as I don't know you and can not tell what you really think you are. But your insults come directly from the far left play book. All distortions and lies, nothing about truth in what you say. Those comments have been challenged and proven wrong so many times, but they still keep being told.

And as Koko has noted. Obama is fast becoming a pariah in the US. Even among his Democrat party.

By the way, our government has two major parties, among many other smaller parties, and they are called Republican and Democrat. They are not Republican 'right' and Democrat 'left', as some seem to think. Republican party has both right (conservative) and left (liberal) and the Democrat party is of right and left too. Also there is a third way of thinking where most of our independent voters are and that is called the 'centrist'. The independents go for the person or ideology they prefer and vote as they feel.

We do not have any party votes in the US. Party votes are illegal and therefore not on the ballots. Each person voting must pick who they are voting for, which makes it harder for a party to block the ballot with just their chosen ones and not the ones the people would like to work for them.
