Obama Snubs Australia - Again!

for the third time, obama will not be visiting australia in november, when he will be visiting indonesia.

shows just how unimportant we are to the usa.

let's withdraw all our support from the us invasion of iraq and afghanistan. the us don't even know we're there.

That is just showing Obama's arrogance and ignorance. He is useless as our President. I doubt if it shows that way most American people think about Australia and our relationships. Good question would be why he favors Indonesia over Australia. Could it be because he was partially raised in Indonesia when he was young?

The Iraq involvement in Iraq is over and I thought Australia had already pulled out of Iraq. Now the Afghanistan war, also a UN authorized war, continues for some time now. If we could get the politicians out of the way we might have a better chance to win the Afghanistan war.

Great!

We'll save some money hosting him*

We do not have a stable govenment at the moment and Rudd is doing a good job.

US adminstration probably knows more of what's going here than we do.

Anyhow, poor man, he must dead tired and very very busy.

Who Rudd or Obama ?

BTW we wont have a stable government until we go back to the polls and get one with a true majority.

Labor is governing with a mish mash of independents and 1 Green Mp and only 1 of these (TW) was actually elected by the majority of their electorates - the others snuck in on preferences and so do not actually represent the views of a majority of voters so undemocratic and it shows usually in dissatisfaction of the process and it has done its dash.

Only way to get a democratic one is to do away with representative voting and go back to true democratic voting where the person winning the seat has the first and primary votes of the majority of the electorate

and not the 2nd or 3rd of 4th or 5th or 6th or 7th votes and so on because not only were we compelled to number each and every one but also compelled to go to vote.

I think Obama.

Rudd is having time of his life and good on him he deserves it***

You are probably right. Obama is running hard trying to prove he is not the biggest loser the US has ever had for President.

In about 6 weeks we have an election and we hope to dislodge his unusual and unique hold on the people of the US. We want our country and constitution back.
