I reckon they're the same person Davey ..easy enough to just swap from ipad to iphone to pc etc,  so easy to do ... I think it's hilarious ...don't you ?

I think you are on the right track Maggs

Pete is just practising on iphone to put it into operation when Jagguar goes on hols.

Too frightened to use pseudos as they are being watched.

At least we keep you amused. If it wasn't for the 3 of us, you two wud be bored shirtless.

Note to self Pam the rottey girl and Christchurch airport p. and Stonehenge p and red cars

Who's this Pam bird. What went down in the airport car park?

Umm Pam I don't know she was just a sweet girl but maddie there are stories about Christchurch airport Stonehenge but might be a bit sensitive for The gentile folk on here .let's say she had quite a sex drive

Maybe as we appear to have so many readers of both our travels I should ask them for permission to talk about maddie as it could cause heart problems .

Have a nice trip Pete :) - Hope you find Billy

Pete's not going to the land of the long white cloud. I am.

He's off to Europe next year with his daughter.

Get with the program !!!!

So Pete - where did young Pam finally end up. Did you give her the flick after CHC

Pam is the nice sweet girl who came from and lives near Pert I don't want to tell you what she does as it would give her identity away which I don't want to do

I think it was Maddy that you wanted to hear more of .perhaps if I tone it down I could talk about that period. But somehow our readers think we have introduced soft porn where I can find no mention of sex in any post

To heck with the whinging readers Pete. They're just showing their age and mentality. Perhaps this is all the excitement they get. The poor dears hyperventilate at the very hint of inter.... lude with the fairer sex.

Carry on Sir.

Oh! You have come back - did you find Billy in your travels ???

Sigh. Posts from the hypocrites who accuse other of trolling and causing mischief.

Hey Abbie, Maggo$, I am not Pete and Pete is not me.

Psychos!

Well ladies as you find this thread do interesting why don't you contribute and tell us of your own travels

I noticed that you have come back and was wondering if you found Billy in your travels ???

Well instead of wondering about my travels why not tell us about your own

Wheelchair prohibits my travel

I am sorry to hear that abby

Yes well,  I journeyed to the local shopping centre today ..saw lots of folks I don't know and looked at lots of stuff I didn't buy.. absolutely rivetting stuff! ... (just like your imaginary ramblings !)

And you had a cute octopus follow you home :)

What a lovely trip you had

Pathetic old fools. Did you think we makes these up for your vicarious pleasure.

whatever turns you on baby.

Why do you bother reading our imaginary ramblings maggs

Why do you bother reading our imaginary ramblings maggs

We all thought it was story telling time on this thread.

You know like Fairy Tales.

Wow isn't that amazing . Oh well glad to entertain you .

I had brought up Baz , from Ashburton, from Singers to hong Kong . Baz had brought over to Sungers Debbie , or Dubbie in NZ lingo  A blonde hairdresser from Aukland. She had laded a job selling high speed ferries around Asia for the Norwegians who were going to build them in Sungers . But I digress the gig was up in Honkers and Baz was going back to Christchurch , Attila the Nun was going down to the farm outside Invarcargill . And Mae who was Filipino / Chinese wanted to go to NZ too . I was off to London .

But Bazza had this idea of bringing in to Christchurch containers of Pakistani Rosewood furniture , Brass statues of deer and porpoise from Korea Korean hat boxes and lacquered goods from Vietnam Chinese horses from Taiwan . Bri g them into Christchurch assemble a mixed container load and you had instant franchise of interesting shop .

Gotta go battery running out

I read all posts on this forum... I also read the print on cereal boxes now and again... depends how bored I am and if your 'conversation' was meant to be private ...you'd be sending each other pm's ... besides I've a sympathetic nature  and I thought it would nice of me to at least acknowledge your efforts by leaving little notes of encouragement so that you know someone is actually reading them ... I'm thoughtful like that .... smile...

Baz gave me a business plan as he needed more financing. He needed to finance six containers to get the supply chain going. So I hopped in for 50 per.interest. So we split up Baz went ahead to Christchurch To rent a warehouse and set up a retail shop. Attila left for NZ

Mae and I took our last trip on the AT&T junk out to the pig and whistle.

Mae had to wait for NZ Visa and I took off to the Phillipines .The Phillipines is a country on the wrong continent it should be in South America . It is 99 per cent Catholic everybody speaks English it is corrupt as buggery . The hotels have a sign at the entrance to please leave guns at the counter provided. I went down to amongst other things to say goodbye to Raffy . I once negotiated with Raffy with a typhoon raging outside and a pistol in the middle of the table . We went to the cat house a bar in Mcarty Village paid a Pepsi bar find and took off for Porto Guillaro and White Sands .this is an island with a lot of expats who are living the good life on the Aussie pension. One guy had literally escaped from an old people's home in Brissy where he had been put by his kids .he was having a great life young wife young kids rum a dollar a bottle . A young NZ guy told he had only months to live had  a group of shacks and a bar where Raf and I stayed . Was diving and living well seven years later and would never leave . Stayed around Asia for three months went to London to flat in Thurlough sq and finally down to Christchurch to catch up with Baz,

Baz had things buzzing warehouse chockers had retail shop opened on Ferry road out near tunnel turn off to. Lytlleton had house at on hills above Sumner. We called the shop " House of Teal" and had oval green and gold oval decals on window van and on back of all furniture .

So there I was with sports jacket leather patches corduroy daks and Churches. Brogues playing Future Antiques dealer.

How did the antique business go? We bought some lacquer stuff from Vietnam. Looked good when we first saw it in Binh Than market

Hung up a few around the house. After a couple of years, its sitting in storage somewhere.

The hardwood furniture though - that's classy.

The lacquer we brought in we're boxes jewllery size they were very deep and beautiful pieces. The rosewood from Pakistan some were inlaid and were future antiques. The Pakistani were still hand making furniture from the Raj.  Fantastic quality .

So what happened to the business . Well Dubbie came down from Singers and fell pregnant to Baz  so Baz got domesticated and didn't want to travel .Mae had gone to Queenstown and took over the joint as real estate queen .The operation was Baz's and we had him and Polly from Guilford in the shop .i was pouncing about shop casino restraint in Somner life was good Nickerless Maddy would fly in from Sydney .

But Baz was slow to get franchise side going and really as the retail shop was going so well just wanted a quiet life .

So after six months Baz paid me out I shipped some desks and a merc to London . I shipped the desks including some beut captains desks with the idea of opening a desk only shop in the city . Never did and sold them off Auction . Not really a retail guy those used to be in my youth I think I mentioned I had shops in Elizabeth in S.A

"good nickerless maddy?" - the mind boggles. Wud've been quite drafty on the plane methinks!!!

No - no mention of your shops, hope you broke even at least on the shipment back to London.

Life was good,

Yes made a small profit on desks .

I'm sure somewhere I mentioned that I had made enough at 23 to own house car and a portfolio by opening shops in Elizabeth and selling for goodwill .

Just because this is headed NZ trip? Email from my daughter just now already doing a trip round NZ

"We are in Wellington today and off to South Island tomorrow. We went through Napier yesterday which is the Art Deco city. Can't remember if we went there on our trip. It was amazing! We also got ourselves good warm jackets on sale and extra thermals so feeling a lot warmer today but I think we may freeze still! It's very cold!"

I have never been to Napier but did see a programme on it and yes it did look Amazing .

Napiers' beautiful. Good wine country.

Yes Napier is amazing Vivity.  They have an Art Deco festival there every year.

Parades and dress ups in 30's gear.  It's a huge success. My daughter, husband and their friends went there every year when they lived in Palmerston North.

They will find it very cold on the South Island and I understand why they needed coats in Wellington.  It lives up to it's name as Windy Wellington.

I fondly remember skiing at mount ruapehu back about 6 years ago. I was with this attractive young lady called Abby. She was a very good skier , had won trophies.

Unfortunately she later fell down the mountain and was confined to a wheelchair.

we were travelling later that nite back to Taupo when the sky lit up as ruapehu erupted. What a site. I later purchased to ski lodge on the mountain and later sold it for handsome profit enabling me to pay for Abby's wheel chair.

I only just found out that Abby was confined to a wheel chair.

I was invited to a hangi in Rotorua last year.. Baz sent his private jet to pick me up from Adelaide airport after first arraging a stretch limo to collect me from my home ... only stayed overnight as I had to be home next day for an appointment with my business manager.... thinking of merging a couple of portfolios and looking at new options in China .....         (the dinnerware not the country)

Gee Lushy, what a coincidence. My daughter and SIL watched  from their house when Mt Ruapehu  erupted.  They said it was spectacular. I loved Lake Taupo when we went there.  Good trout fishing.  Friends of the daughter have a house up on the hill overlooking the lake, and took us fishing.  We stayed there for 3 nights then went on to the Coromandel Valley and stayed 2 weeks with another lot of my friends in Onemana.
