Moving in to town

I've decided that I will move in to town - only 4k from the town centre, far better than the 40k I now have to drive. There'll be a public transport bus every hour, only 1k away. My son will help me move. I've checked out the place where I'll be moving to - no flooding, even though the road might be cut for an hour or so. I've checked the area out at night, on weekends, and it seems to be fairly quiet. I'll still have to have the satellite broadband - the Coffs Harbour exchange is quite antiquated. I'm in the throws of packing now. I've measured up the place I'll be going to - my furniture will fit. It's quite a time for me. New neighbours, new friends, but I'll make it OK. Must admit, I'm a bit nervous.

Thats understandable Bev to be nervous. As long as YOU know you are doing the right thing--it will work out. It takes a while to get used to a new place if it wasn't really your choice to go, as you oved it where you were. Don't forget to get on the net and let us know as soon as you can. Have you been able to check out the new place and area?
